We have lived in the neighborhood for over 18 years. We live in the lower level of this house and it is our dream home. Maintaining the house and gardens is a labor of love for us. We have been hosting through VRBO for over 9 years and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We have met people from all over the world.

We are located in the highlands neighborhood. It is populated with several "Best of Denver" restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques. We are also waling distance to Mile High Stadium, Coors Field, and the Pepsi Center.
We had a fantastic stay at Bryant Street Flat. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Denver. A simply elegant decor with all the amenities. Clean and very comfortable. Close to major highway connections for your touring ease, yet within walking distance of local eateries. The absolutely only draw back for some would be the three flight stairway to the apartment. We hope to return to Bryant Street Flat when in Denver again!
On our recent trip to Denver, we had the very good fortune to stay at the Bryant Street Flat. Located in a residential area called the Highlands Neighborhood, our residence for the week was on the top floor of a stunning Victorian style home, on a beautiful tree lined street. Viewing the house and its grounds for the first time as we parked our car was truly an "oh my gosh" moment - we were so excited to be there! And as we were to discover over the course of our busy and action packed week ( having put 800 miles on our rental!), this was absolutely the perfect setting to return to each evening - so peaceful..... so quiet.
The Flat itself was meticulously cared for and its lovely furnishings complemented the charm of the home. We enjoyed rooms that were spacious and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen. Although there were cafes and eateries a short walk from the Flat, we chose to have breakfast early each morning on the deck or on the porch of 'our home'. Darci and Dave are to be commended for their attention to detail and the little touches that made our stay there special.
For folks who typically find lodging in hotels, this was a great experience for us. We thank Darci and Dave for being wonderful hosts and for preparing this amazing home way from home for their guests.

Everything about this property was top notch. In particular:
* Fantastic neighborhood - lovely homes, great food in walking distance (especially Wooden Spoon Bakery and Duo restaurant), extremely easy to get downtown, to West Highlands, Cherry Creek, and out to the foothills. Parking always available. Quiet around home, but a lively neighborhood within easy reach.
* Spaciousness. I didn't get how spacious the flat would be from the pictures on line. The layout is terrific for privacy and separation, and the rooms are good-sized. The two balconies add to this, and we especially enjoyed the views from the back space.
* Timely return of security deposit.
* Very functional. The AC in the bedrooms really did cool the whole apt, even on very hot days. The flat had everything we needed, and it all worked.
Note about the outside stairs: they include three average in-home sets of steps, eg like a combination of our basement to first floor steps, first floor to second floor steps, and one more first to second. The handrails are good and the stairs are wide with good footing.
Overall, one of our favorite vacation rentals, exemplifies why we choose this form of lodging: living comfortably in a real neighborhood instead of sitting on the bed in a tourist area hotel.
We were so pleased with our stay in Denver at the beautiful flat in Highlands. It was very hot while we were there but the space was easily kept cool with the window A/Cs and then the great cross-ventilation in the evenings. We really enjoyed our morning tea and evening wine on the back deck, especially watching the sunsets over the mountains. Darci was incredibly accommodating after a scheduling mix-up (totally our fault) and was always available to answer questions. The flat was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were within easy walking distance of many shops and restaurants. And if it hadn't been so warm coupled with the altitude (we're flatlanders) we could have easily walked to the river and even into downtown. A GREAT place to stay!
Fantastic flat. Beautiful, historical, well situated. It was perfect for our family of 4. We played on the playground and walked to get pizza and dessert after dinner. Lots to do around Highlands, fun neighborhood for the kids . Easy access to the Highway and LoDo. All amenities included. Great pressure in the pipes, not to mention the jetted tub in one of the bedrooms. TV and books in the living room. There is a DVD player, so you can rent or bring movies. Air conditioners in both bedrooms, floor heaters for winter. Friendly cats next door.
The owners are very approachable. I called before booking to chat about my kids and our late arrival. Neither was a problem. They even set up a pack and play for us, so we wouldn't have to do it when we got in.
The Flat is 3 stories up and those are tall stairs, but the view is great up there and worth the climb.
Would absolutely recommend to others and try to return whenever possible.
Thank you for our lovely stay.
P.S. I loved the bedding set in the master bedroom, where is it from?
The backyard and grounds were amazing and the flat was in large, roomy and furnished nicely. The owners had thought of everything which really made our stay very comfortable. Also, the owners were supper friendly and helpful which really helped to make our stay memorable. Lastly, the location was amazing- we could walk to many restaurants and bars. We were a 5 min drive to downtown. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to experience the True Denver Life style.
