Location, Location, Location... This downtown Beaufort carriage house is a perfect place to stay for your visit to Historic Beaufort. Beautifully furnished and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The outdoor sitting area is covered and looks out to this charming neighborhood full of moss draped live oak trees, magnolia trees, crepe myrtles, camellias and azaleas. The carriage house is above the detached garage. It has been redecorated, updated and freshly painted summer 2016! It is one very large room with a king bed, two comfy chairs for reading or tv, a kitchen table and 4 chairs and a dresser. There is also a kitchenette with a toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker (and coffee pods) and a hot shot for boiling water for tea. Bath has a tub/shower and is sparkling clean!

Just a fifteen minute walk along the Beaufort River (ICW) to wonderful restaurants, antique and other shops, a waterfront park, marina and historic tours. Or ride one of the bicycles provided for your own self-directed tour of downtown!

Centrally located this carriage house is just 10 minutes from Parris Island and 20 minutes from Hunting Island State Park and Beach! You can walk downtown for a horse & buggy historic tour or meet a guide at the marina for a day of boating/fishing. Kayaking tours are also available from the downtown area. About Colleen Baisley

My name is Colleen Baisley. I moved to Beaufort, SC in 2002 from the Boston area. I chose Beaufort because it is a historic city, on the coast and perfectly located between Charleston and Savannah. It has surpassed all of my expectations in that not only is this the most beautiful place to live but the quality of life here is wonderful! I first lived about 2 miles from the downtown historic district but quickly realized that I wanted to be even closer. I live in the house attached to my carriage house that I rent. It is a beautiful neighborhood and an easy walk or bike ride to the shops, restaurants and marina. Real Estate sales is my business. If you are coming for a visit and decide that you may want to live here...I can help you! Stop by my office, in the heart of Historic Beaufort, at 820 Bay St. and ask for Colleen!

Colleen Baisley purchased this studio in 2006

Why Colleen Baisley chose Low Country & Resort Islands

I chose to buy my home with carriage house attached because it is perfectly located to the downtown historic district. It is located just a block off of the intracoastal waterway and you can walk along the ICW on your way to downtown. You will pass some of the grandest of the Historic Homes in Beaufort.

Wonderful!!!!

  • 5 of 5

This was my first visit to Beaufort and it was perfect. The carriage house is located in a charming neighborhood within walking distance to downtown and waterfront park. We thoroughly enjoyed the area as well as the accommodations. The carriage house is clean and comfortable and loved having use of bicycles. Old Bull Tavern, Blackstone and Plum and Moon bagels were our favorites, the restaurants on waterfront park seemed overated and service was poor. Thanks Colleen for a perfect place!!!

Nice layout, good location

  • 5 of 5

The carriage house has a nice layout that was just the right size for my husband and I. It was well stocked, quiet, and clean. We enjoyed the bicycles and the easy walk to downtown. Colleen was quick to answer questions. I would recommend this place to friends and family without hesitation and would stay there again myself.

Adorable vacation cottage!

  • 5 of 5

This adorable cottage is the perfect vacation getaway! It's clean and comes with everything you need....from coffee & all necessary kitchen items, to mugs in the freezer for your beverage:-) We especially loved the deck with a tiki bar, umbrella and grill for relaxing at the end of the day. Beaufort is a quaint and beautiful town. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

Clean, pleasant place

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the carriage house. The bed was comfortable and it was furnished with everything we needed for our stay. It is located on a quiet street. The weather was a bit cool while we were there so we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor space but the inside was a comfortable place to call home during our stay.

An awesome stay in Beaufort!

  • 5 of 5

Two of us stayed three nights in Colleen's carriage house in mid-March. It was great. This was our first visit to Beaufort and the location was perfect. Very quiet, and just a short bike ride or beautiful walk into town. The bikes were much appreciated. Carriage house has all the amenities. Though the weather was unseasonably cold, this turned out to be a great place to just hang out and chill, or warm up. Would return for sure.

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying in Colleen's carriage house. It is centrally located and easy to bike to the waterfront and the Point. Quick access to the Spanish Moss Trail is a big plus too! Colleen is very friendly, kind and attentive to anything one might need. It was a pleasure to spend a few peaceful days in our future hometown.
