The home is just a three blocks from the Denver Millennium Bridge, the world’s first cable-stayed bridge, that connects the Lower Highland neighborhood with Downtown Denver.
Walking distance in any direction to popular restaurants, bars and coffee shops. This home is completely remodeled, fresh, comfortable and quiet.
So you don't have to choose between a great location or a great house. This has both.
LoHi was awarded BEST RESTAURANT NEIGHBORHOOD 2011 - Denver Westword*** but here is a link to the 2015 list that features several of the city's finest including the Highland Tap and Little Man Ice Cream.
Great central location! Close to major highways I-25, I-70 and Speer Blvd. So it is an easy walk or bike ride into Downtown Denver. Denver city bikes are available right outside the back of the property.
The house was completely taken down to studs and remodeled. Everything was completely replaced including the house electrical wiring, HVAC, plumbing, windows, etc. 2008. From the outside walls in, it is practically a new house.
The Kitchen, Dining Room and Living Room have an open feeling and feature 10ft. ceilings. The new cherry hardwood floors / cabinetry give it a warm rich feeling.
The kitchen features new stainless appliances and a gas stove. This is a great cook's kitchen. But you certainly won't have to cook with such a choice of eateries nearby!
The rear of the house features an office space with a comfortable twin bed and a quarter-bathroom. Open the back door and step out onto a balcony overlooking the back patio and gardens.
The King and Queen bedrooms are on a level of their own. The King Bedroom is spacious (200+ sq. ft) with a seating area and large bright walk-in closet. Queen Bedroom is walks out to the back patio and gardens.
The full bath is rich and beautifully tiled featuring a nice deep soaking tub.
After long days of adventure (or work if that's the case) you will probably appreciate the serenity of the outdoor spaces. The front and back patios feature gardens and they each have their own dining set. The back patio is quite large and is quite private.
Parking - 2 private off street spaces. This is expecially important on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night when the neighborhood restaurants really bustle.
Nearby Restaurants within 5 block radius: Linger, William & Graham (CNN Best New Bars in U.S.), LoHi Steak Bar, RootDown, Lola, Z' Cuisine, Duo, Pasquini's, Amato's Alehouse, Highland Tap, Masterpiece Deli, Vita, Colt & Gray, Old Major, Uncle.
Coffee Shops: Laughing Late, Black Eye, Gallop Coffee.more. Many of these offer outside seating!
Walking access to over 100 restaurants, Coors Field, Pepsi Center, Invesco Stadium and the Convention Center within blocks.
Oh, by the way. It has central air conditioning - a real bonus in the summertime.

I wanted to live in a vibrant walkable neighborhood close to Downtown. This area was really coming alive. It is very walkable. It is very drivable.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This is an easy one to answer --- Because it feels like home! When I bought the property I completely remodeled the house with the intention of moving in. So, naturally it would feel like home to me. The remodel was extensive. The inside was stripped down to the studs. The rooms were reconfigured to adjust to modern proportions and to give it an open feeling. In the process we even re-raised the main level ceilings back up to their original height of 10'6' (in the 1950's they had been lowered down to 8'.) With all new insulation, drywall, plumbing, wiring, windows, ete. this house feels clean, modern fresh and quiet! But, no sooner than the remodel complete I accepted a new job out of state. And because I knew I would move back at some point it made sense to make the house available for short-term lease. I am proud of this house and take a special enjoyment when a guest lets me know how much they enjoy the space. Hmmm...What else do I like?... Well, Spring planting is always fun for me. I usually break the budget with additional trips to the garden center that I never regret. The gardens have a nice variety so that there is always something in-bloom or bearing fruit from early spring through the fall when the decorative grasses finally reach their height. I also love to walk around the neighborhood to see what's new. We have several guests who come annually and find themselves doing the same.
