About Sarah Brenner
I bought this farm in 2013 as a weekend getaway, but fell in love with the place, so moved here from Minneapolis in 2017. I jokingly refer to this area as "Fransconsin." We have incredible food all around us and a deep appreciation for taking the time to enjoy it. People are friendly, generous and hard-working. I found home here. My husband is a farmer down the road from the Dirt Farm where he runs Lake View Organic Farm. There you can see farming in action from planting, making hay, harvesting and animals. Lake View Organic Farm also hosts a small farm store where we sell foods from the farm for both pantry and animals. There you will find, among other things, our sunflower oil, maple syrup and CBD products. We also raise grass-fed beef and eggs. We enjoying hosting guests at both of our farms.
Why Sarah Brenner chose Maiden Rock
This property is a charming farmhouse that lent itself to modernizing and updating very easily. It was built in the mid 1800s and much of it still reflects that era, but a monochromatic white paint lifted and lightened the space. The farmhouse has great energy, light and views. Looking out the windows at the surrounding beauty is nourishing!
What makes this House unique
This house and property will make you feel rejuvenated, calm and happy. Many people who have stayed here are reminded of childhood experiences with older relatives on farms. It's a great place to reminisce and enjoy time away with family, friends or for a work retreat. We keep it exceptionally clean for our discerning guests.
