The best of everything

  • 5 of 5

The house is so well positioned, a small beach is literally next door, the owners- more than great and ready to surprise and delight. The sun-drenched upstairs and cozy downstairs allow for various activities to take place simultaneously making it perfect for larger families; newborns, toddlers, fishermen, kayak lovers, sun-lovers, we had it all, some from NYC, some from NJ, some from Europe. I agree with all the other reviews, read them and believe them! We spent three whole weeks and weren't ready to leave on day 21!!! We are already thinking about an encore performance...

Great last minute getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our family found this gem to rent for 3 nights at the very last weekend in September.

The price was right to begin with but we got a super discount because the owner accidently booked us on the weekend before in which he had someone else already booked. He called us to see if the following weekend would work and it did.

The house is large and beautifully furnished. There were ten of us with plenty of room to socialize inside and out. The fully applianced kitchen was great along with the large dining room and open living area. Beds were comfortable and 3 showers were ideal for this number of people. There was not a lot of wood for the fire pit or fireplace so Steve did get some wood to us almost immediately. He was around to see if there was anything we needed but did not stay long.

The weather wasn't the greatest, but we still got out with the kayaks, went to one of the many nearby restaurants and went out to Newport to see a couple of the mansions and did the cliff walk. Summer would have been ideal with all the kayaks and canoes available, along with the many beaches in the area. The stay was pleasant and I wouldn't hesitate to vacation there again.

Great time

  • 5 of 5

My family had a great time on Labor Day weekend. It was all that was described. We went fishing, jet skiing, kayaking and had a family wedding in Newport which was a convenient location. I would highly recommend this house.

Great house, great amenities, great vacation!

  • 5 of 5

As a group of 12 young professionals, this house was perfect with several bedrooms and multiple common spaces for us to use. We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. The house was clean, had ample amenities in the kitchen, and had several kayaks/canoes/paddle boards that we enjoyed all weekend. The waterfront fire pit was also a great feature! The house has direct neighbors only on one side, so we felt we had good privacy when spending time in the back yard. The direct water access was fantastic, we went kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and fishing every day. We also easily took day trips to Misquamicut beach (there were even beach games, chairs, and umbrellas in the garage for us to use!), Providence, and Newport. Steve was very attentive and made sure the rental went smoothly. We will definitely consider this rental again next summer!

Great House for Families

  • 5 of 5

We had three generations staying in this home. Ages ranged from 2 years old to 60 years old. Everyone had fun and there was plenty of room for the ten of us. My one suggestion is that we could have used another refrigerator.
