Why Carlos chose Lisbon Old Town
This apartment is part of the family history and is located in one of the most charming locations of Lisbon.
What makes this Apartment unique
This apartment combines the charm of its worked ceilings, the wooden floor and large windows that flood of light, with the practical dimension of the location just a few minutes from Lisbon’s downtown, nightlife and several historical monuments.

Old world charm
Clean and sunny, charming old world apartment. Surrounded by great eateries and within walking distance to public transport, shops and sites.
Splendid location in the heart of the city
We spent a week here at the end of October, 2018 and were delighted by the proximity to so many handy places; bakery, supermarket, parks, public transportation. The old world charm of the flat has its challenges; having to step outside to use the WC, lack of heat or AC...things that cannot be changed. The shabby, run-down furniture is literally falling apart and needs replacement. Glassware is limited to wine glasses, champagne flutes and 2 small juice glasses. Somehow the charm of the area and the closeness to amenities makes this a splendid choice in lieu of the shortcomings. Beautiful parks nearby and a choice of wonderful eateries. Good value.
Perfect for LGBTQ travelers, as there are several locations within a 5 minute walk.

Great quiet location for Lisbon exploration
Bright airy apartment in older part of Lisbon. Challenging to find but excellent for visit to the Barrio Alto, training to Sinatra, and convenient to bus, trolley and train travel.
Great place, great location, short on comfort. Owner does not pay attention to detail.
Broken coffe pot, not enough towels, couch very uncomfortable, bathroom in obscure place, lack of mirror near electrical outlet, very poor heating
A great apartment
A great apartment. Very comfortable. Great location.
Appartement très sympathique . parfaitement situé pour visiter. Quartier très agréable. Accueil chaleureux. Nous recommandons....
As you look out the window, or go out the door, you find yourselfs in Largo Agostinho da Silva (Portuguese philosopher of the twentieth century), where you can observe the old fountain and shady trees drawn on the floor in typical Portuguese sidewalk work. In the small restaurant with terrace you can begin to try some of the delights of Portuguese cuisine.
In a few meters you arrive to the Praça das Flores, another garden with a central fountain, where there are 4 restaurants and 2 pastries, 1 kiosk only with Portuguese products, 1 pharmacy, 1 supermarket, 2 two grocery stores.
Walking down the street you’ll find the Portuguese Parliament, the José Afonso Association (one of the gratest Portuguese singers), the Amalia Rodrigues Museum (our Fado’s diva) and a specialized area in antique shops.
If you go up the street to Principe Real, another garden with 3 terraces, you can visit one of the areas most marked by the recent Portuguese designers: fashion, accessories, decoration, etc.. You can also visit there the Natural History Museum and its magnificent garden. It is also here that begins one of the most animated nightlife areas of the city - Bairro Alto. The shops, cafes, pharmacies, banks and access to the nearest subway station (Rato station), certainly facilitate your stay to enjoy it to the fullest.
