High ceilings, very bright, hardwood floors, large windows, modern design, simple and functional ... everything you expect from a city apartment. The apartment is spacious, there are three bedrooms, two bathrooms and is equipped with everything you guarantee a pleasant stay. It was recently renovated, and White was chosen as the dominant color, which emphasizes the brightness. A few touches of color to the latest fashion, were following, set in red and gray. A few, but high-quality decorative elements catch the eye, such as the floor lamp in the living room, the Charles Eames chairs in the dining room and installation of real tree branches and industrial frameworks. The apartment was completed by a young architect a few months ago.

After contacting the owner on Saturday (2 days) before leaving my country and get the answer that everything was fine, I landed in Madrid after 12:00hours flight and was put in another place, much smaller and with a single bathroom in the same building. I got the information that the VBRO website made a mistake but could'nt understand how that could happen between the confirmation on Saturday and arrival on Monday morning.
Call the owner and mentioned that I wouldn't stay in the place and ask for a solution. Since I didn't got any, need to find another place much more expensive where I could put my family in comfort.
There was also dust all over in the stairs since they were reprinting the walls.
I claim my prepayment back and after 2 weeks still not receiving it back.
Please don't book this place since the "website" can't guarantee your dates.
Céntrico, moderno y muy agradable
Piso en ubicación inmejorable, luminoso, moderno y muy bien equipado. Edificio histórico y muy cómodo. La experiencia ha sido fantástica. El trato con el propietario ha sido muy profesional y cercana. Recomiendo este apartamento por sus buenas instalaciones, servicios, equipamiento y calidades. Quien quiere un hotel cuando puede alojarse en un piso de esta categoría y en compañía. Repetiremos.
Very central and trendy
Great design and nice atmosphere. The apartment is located in a incredible building with a massive wooden staircase and a big inner courtyard. Once through the big main entrance door of the building, it feels like being home already. I highlyrecommend this place for people that expect a lovely apartment in the center of Madrid and like to benefit from its neighborhood which has brilliant restaurants, and bars. We were allowed to check out late for no extra costs. Our stay at the apartment was perfect.
Perfect location, very bright and clean apartment!
The apartment is the perfect spot to enjoy an exciting shopping, food and drink experience in Madrid. It has a fantastic location which enables you to move around town walking to all the interesting sites in the centre, including Retiro Park and the museums. The apartment is beautifully decorated and was clean and well kept. I would definitely stay here again.
Good for a Party Animal
This apartment was shared by six women for two weeks. First, it is somewhat quiet during the day, but there is no quiet during the night. On weekends the partying goes until 7:00am, but because the noise was constant it didn't seem to affect sleeping too much. There were grocery stores nearby. It was an 8-10 minute walk to the Sol train station which is the closest one serving the Cercanías commuter lines, but at least two different Metro stations even closer. Near The wonderful San Anton Market - great food options and even larger grocery store. Some comments about the apartment. The air conditioning is not throughout the apartment. One unit serves the main room, and then a smaller unit serves one of the bedrooms and generates more heat than what it truly cools down. The clothes washer is older, but did seem to get the job done. We had issues with the water heater and had to call the agency. They did send someone that afternoon and it was repaired. The agency was also accommodating in that we were able to check in prior to 3pm, which was nice after flying in from the U.S.. Neither shower has a door or curtain to enclose the space, so if you turned the water up too high, water got all over the floor in the bathroom and there wasn't a drain in the floor so it just puddled up. Had to use towels to wipe it up, so no one would slip, but also got used to keeping the water turned down. There were no bathroom amenities of soap or shampoo in the apartment, but we had all brought our own. Also, for no dishwasher in the apartment, would have expected dish clothes and drying towels to be available, but only one drying towel. The beds were comfortable, the futon couch had a scratchy slip cover and wasn't the most comfortable couch for hanging out in the apartment. It is well located and can walk to the museums, parque retiro, San Miguel Market, and other shopping areas. Would I stay here again, probably, but the shower, air conditioning, and night noise would make me check elsewhere first.

I also would like to point out that reviews are a very delicate issue and that many personal comments may come across different or have a stronger impact on readers than they sometimes should. Furthermore I consider the title of this review to be completely out of order. Our occupancy level has been 80% sofar, accommodating mostly families with children to 50%
Chueca is well known for being the gay district, but years ago became very popular among straight people. Chueca is also known for being an ideal neighbourhood for dining, going out and hanging out in Bar´s or terraces. But there may be some gay bar which will not be appealing for straight people. Just don´t try those. Chueca being one of Madrid´s popular districts, also explains why the streets are busy at night on weekends like in most of Madrid´s central neighbourhoods. Madrid is known for being a very lively and vibrant city, specially at night. But there is no club or loud bar in the building or elsewhere close to Chueca 7. So far we have had no complaints in that sense although as mentioned above, 50% of our guests are families with children. We have checked the air-conditioning and they seem all to work fine, it is just a matter to operate them correctly.They work all perfectly fine. It´s true that we have not provided amenities so far but we will provide them soon, we have closed a deal with a firm to print the apartments logo onto the amenity packaging, after choosing our own fragrances. They are on their way. Because we haven´t been able to provide amenities for the last weeks, we have been including 10 capsules of Nespresso coffee to use with our brand new PIXIE Nespresso machine for free and we will keep doing this as a complementary treat for our guests in the future. 2 Drying towels are always provided in the kitchen. Regarding the showers, Chueca 7´s bathrooms have modern showers without curtains, but big glass screens. It´s a matter of getting used to them and being a little more careful than with a conventional shower. I highly recommend Chueca 7 for those who want to explore Madrid inside out staying in the heart of Madrid, from where to get around by foot or public transport very easily. For those who are very noise sensitive, please take notice that ear plugs are also available in the flat, just in case.
Buen diseño y buena zona.
Estuvimos muy bien durante nuestra estancia en Chueca 7. El apartamento dispone de todo lo que necesitas para pasar un fin de semana agradable. Muy limpio y bien decorado. Nos quedamos 5 personas y el espacio fue perfecto para disfrutar en familia. Muy buen ambiente en la zona y con muy buenos bares y restaurantes. Nos permitió desplazarnos a todas partes a pie lo cual fue muy conveniente a la hora de movernos por la ciudad. Lo recomiendo si quieres un bonito apartamento con buena localización !
