You will love the spacious living/dining/kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need except the food! After enjoying a wonderful meal served on the country upgrade dining table (seats 6), step into the living room and enjoy a nap or just relax and lounge on the leather sofa with dual recliners in front of the cozy stacked stone fireplace. There is also a flat screen t.v. to enjoy as well.
The upstairs 'LOFT' game room has a air hockey table and game table just perfect to challenge that 'RIVAL' in a game of checkers or cards. There is also flat screen t.v. and Play Station Two game system for the youngsters and well as the 'young at heart.'
There is also a queen leather sleeper sofa for two more quests. This room is decorated in 'AMERICANA'.
All in all you will love the incredible and unique decor. Every piece was hand picked for each special nook. This cabin is perfect if you just want to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet but still close enough to town to take advantage of the entertainment, shows, and shopping.
The concrete driveway goes all the way to the cabin with only four steps to the front porch. You will look forward to unwinding in the big bubbling hot tub or having a cup of coffee on the private covered deck or just relax on the front porch in one of the oak rockers or swing. The deck is enclosed and offers a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere to relax and grill a burger or maybe even a steak!
We live in Roanoke, Ala. We are retirement age but not retired, really don't see that in the near future. We have one son, a wonderful daughter-in-law and have been blessed with two wonderful grand children, a boy and a girl. Our whole life revolves around these two little blessings. My husband is a minister and has a nursing home ministry weekly.
We have been coming to the 'Smokies' since our son was about two years old and he is now married and has two children. We had always wanted a place there and since my husband is a builder, we came for several months scouting for property to build on and finally found the perfect spot, not so secluded but still with privacy and close in to town. We have really enjoyed having a place to come when we want to relax for a few days. We hope that you will enjoy our place as much as we do.
Each bedroom has a jacuzzi tub as well as a full bath and a enclosed hot tub on the back. The bedroom furniture is handmade by my husband . The yard is landscaped and has a long concrete driveway all the way to the front porch with only a few steps to the porch. The cabin is decorated so that you feel like you are at home away from home. It is only a five minute drive to a mini -mall including a specialty shop where you can purchase fresh cut steaks and allsorts of specialty food products as well as a wonderful pizza parlor.
Let me start by saying that this is a very nice cabin for the rental price and there were no problems there. However, the location was not so good. It is really not that far from town, but the roads to get there were curve after curve and just not in a good location. There really is no sitting on back deck looking over mountains view because it sits right against a patch of woods that you can't see over and there is this little bitty patch of a yard outback. The cabin sort of sits down between hills and all you can see on either side of you is a patch of woods. So if your looking for a nice mountain view, this cabin is not the one for you. For this reason I only gave 3 stars and probably won't rent here again.
We stayed in this cabin for 3 nights. Love, love, loved it!!!! Really felt like home. Very, very clean and decorated so nice, really gave it a home feel!! Beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. Enjoyed our coffee on the front porch in the mornings. It is not too far from the road but with how wonderful the cabin was it really didn't matter. Woods in the back and the side so really not a big deal. You still have privacy. I would absolutely stay there again. Not too far from all the action but enough out of the way to relax from it all. I highly recommend it!!
We are currently staying in this cabin for 4 days. I love it! It looks just like the pictures, except the view from the front porch. The trees have grown taller on the hill next to the cabin so you're not able to see the mountain in the distance. This cabin is beautifully decorated with tasteful decor. Beds are very comfortable. Love the kitchen. Love the recliners on the couch and chair. Enjoyed our coffee on the front porch this morning. Although there are other cabins nearby it is secluded due to trees and the terrain that surrounds the cabin. You have privacy here. The landscaping is beautiful and well tended to. We are very comfortable and at home here. I am very pleased with our choice to stay here and highly recommend it!!
My wife and I were looking for private but not too far away from the Pigeon Forge activities. Ann and Bill have THE place for that. It was beautiful. The cabin is nestled next to some woods and is very private. The decorations are wonderful! It was so clean and well cared for. The hot tub was outstanding with screened in privacy, big tub. The wife and I celebrated a wonderful wedding anniversary and was in no small part due to the cabin. We hope to go back and take family there next time. Thank you
My family, including our two girls (ages 10 & 6) stayed at the cabin for 7 nights and we loved it. Our favorite activities were relaxing in the hot tub, having campfires in the outdoor fire pit, and playing air hockey in the games loft. When we arrived, everything was very clean and tidy. Contrary to many of the other cabins in the area, there are no neighbors close by so there is a sense of privacy and seclusion. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept great. We enjoyed rocking on the porch chairs and taking in the beautiful view. The cabin is a short drive to Pigeon Forge and close to many attractions. The owners were great to deal with and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend renting this cabin; I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
I stayed this past weekend and loved it. Very nice and clean and the owners were awesome with accommodating me with everything I needed. Loved the location with a nice yard for my 7 year old to run around in. I would definitely recommend this cabin to no more than a group of 6.
Easy access to Dollywood and Splash Country, Dixie Stampede, and numerous live shows. Short distance to Cade's Cove in Townsend.
