About the property

Studio, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)

A quiet and lovely studio in the heart of the historic center, the best location to start discovering Rome, close to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon.

There is no need to take any means of transportation, the apartment is only five/ten minutes walking distance from all the attractive sites of Rome: the Vatican, Saint Peter’s Basilica, Castel Sant’ Angelo, Fontana di Trevi, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Venezia, the Imperial Forums and the Colosseum.

Furthermore, the area of Campo de' Fiori/Piazza Navona is the most lively meeting place of the city for both locals and tourists, especially at night. Full of art galleries, antique shops and a wide selection of bars, pizzerie and restaurants, it's the place of the traditional morning market, the city’s most famous outdoor market.

The apartment, maintaining its own original tall ceiling made of wooden beams, is located in a completely restructured 16th century building.

Perfect location and everything you need

  • 5 of 5

This is a great studio apartment, very clean, and in a wonderful location right near Cap de Fiori, but not noisy. The apartment has air conditioning, an ample bathroom, a kitchenette, and an elevator. No terrace or much lounging space, but excellent for people who are mostly interested in being out and exploring and coming back to a convenient, comfortable studio. I'd definitely stay here again.

Location, Location plus a wonderful owner who is nearby!

  • 5 of 5

This 2 person studio is perfectly located in the heart of old Rome. You can walk anywhere. IT IS IDEAL. The area is full of shops, restaurants, cafe's and attractions. Max distance is 30 minutes, but most historic sites are closer. The apartment is clean and VERY quiet. It has air conditioning, a nice bathroom with a good shower, comfortable bed, kitchenette with a fridge, sink, microwave, small stove, TV with Italian channels, and best of all after a long day - an elevator! The building, location and apartment are exactly what we expected and we recommend! The owner will provide dining, tourist and travel information. She is focused on meeting her renters every need and even sat down and drew us a map!

Great location

  • 5 of 5

My teenaged son and I stayed in the smaller studio unit. We were in a perfect location. We rented bicycles at the shop down the street, ate pizza every night around the corner at the Montecarlo pizzeria (best in Rome!), and were at all the major attractions in no time at all. The studio is not a huge space - best for 2 people who intend to spend their time exploring Rome. If that's your aim, you can't do better than this space with dear Bea.

San Francisco

We stayed here for three nights and walked to all the major attractions. The furthest away is the Coliseum at about 25 minutes. The Vatican and Pantheon are both closer. The price was good for the location and the owner is the absolute sweetest. She met us at the apartment and we quickly felt right at home. If I travel back to Rome, this is where I will stay.

Confirm the apartment before arrival

  • 2 of 5

The location was great.

I would recommend that you contact the owner prior to arriving to check which apartment you are staying in, as there are two. The one that is shown on VRBO, with air conditioning and a bed. The other is an older apartment street side and you will be sleeping on a sofa bed with an overhead fan.

I did not confirm and was put in the older apartment, which would have been fine if it is what I was paying for.

Owner's Response: Guests are always right but if you mean that high wooden celings, completely Renewed Bath and kitchen mean an old apartment .... You also forgot to mention that I gave you your money back ( except city and other taxes) but guests are always right.

Great Apartment in Rome

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is excellent and was perfect for my 5 night stay. The building is very quiet and peaceful, despite being only steps away from the Campo de Fiori (which is a great place to explore and dine). It is a short walk to many other sights if you like to see the town on foot, or a bus stop if you like to ride. Bea was so helpful before my arrival and cheerful when she met me at the apartment. I felt right at home in very short order. I definitely recommend this apartment for your stay in Rome.

Car: not necessary

The property is beside Campo de Fiori, 5 minutes walking to Navona Square and 10 minutes to the Vatican. It is walking distance to all most attractive and important sites and monuments. It is located in the internal side of an historical building, quite in spite of being in a 'movida' area.

The apartment has been recently renewed with a luxury and wide bathroom.

Recommended both for young and senior people.
