The COVENT GARDEN PEARL is a lovely 2 bedroom apartment located in londons famous covent garden village also known as theater land.

You will be spoiled with everything directly on your door step which includes,lovely clothing boutiques,a huge range of theaters including the royal opera house,trendy bars and cafes,lovely delis, cheese and wine specialist and also a great selection of international cuisines.

For entertainment i recommend taking a 2 minute walk into covent garden piazza and admiring the street buskers, or if your a bit of a wild cat you could head to sohos nightlife.

Other attractions like the tate gallery, london eye, bIg ben, the horse guards parade, the british museum, royal opera house and lots of others are in walking distance.

Central London Gem!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely flat. Walking to theatres was a breeze. We rarely took the tube since so many Central London attractions were a pleasant walk in the nice weather that week. Everything was perfect except for the middle of the night rubbish collection outside one of the bedroom's widows. Earplugs solved that problem, however. We are eager to return!

Great Location - Beautiful Apartment / Flat

This was my first experience staying at a VRBO. We stayed here for 5 nights - two couples. Location was great - easy walk from Covent Garden tube station. Close to theaters, pubs, restaurants, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, markets, Oxford Street and many more attractions. Apartment / flat was clean, spacious and bright. Pictures were accurate (except no photo of tiny bathroom off master bedroom) The larger bedroom facing the street had ample storage space although a very tiny washroom. Street can be noisy if you retire early,(weekends) however it was usually quiet by midnight - 1:00 am. The other bedroom facing the courtyard was smaller and quieter. Larger bathroom included a washer / dryer. No issues connecting to the Wifi which hotels don't always offer. We were met by 'Darren' who pleasantly explained everything to us. Owner always responded to any inquiries quickly. Would definitely consider VRBO again instead of a hotel and I would recommend this apartment to family / friends wanting to stay in Covent Garden area.

Great apartment in a great location

A half block from lively Seven Dials and in the other direction Neals Yard Dairy, ten minute walk from the National Gallery, near most of the major theaters, museums [except the V & A], shops, restaurants yet in an enclave of guarded modern apartments above the street, secluded and tranquil. The price reasonable for London, especially compared to a hotel.

We stayed a one bedroom in the complex last year. A friend joining us we rented this two bedroom, two bath. The prices wasn't that much more but a lot more space. It was clean, tastefully decorated, in good repair, comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked including essentials such as cooking oil, detergent, salt and pepper.

The owner, Steve W. answered all communications promptly, and was entirely helpful. Being out of town he delegated Rio, an assistant who was waiting for us in the flat. He buzzed us in, showed us around, and was available for questions throughout our stay. A light bulb blew out and he appeared immediately to replace it.

The larger bedroom faced the interior space and was quiet except for the occasional tenant talking too loudly or slamming doors. The smaller bedroom faced a busy street and was noisy especially with the window open. Ear plugs might be advised.

Our only suggestion is a guidebook to the appliances unfamiliar to we US citizens. Rio showed us how to use them but we'd just come off a long plane trip, and didn't retain the details.

If you are looking for a two bedroom two bath I would recommend it without reservation.

Great location!

We had a wonderful time at the Shorts Garden apartment. It is as advertised and more. One side of the apartment is more quiet than the other side, but it really is clean, comfortable and nice. Friends from the city came to meet us here after work very easily. We all enjoyed it very much. I would recommend this to anyone who loves the buzz of the city!

So Close to Everything and So Comfortable!

3 Shorts Gardens is right at Seven Dials! Walk to Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, the British Museum - across the river to the Tate --- and it's close to Leicester Square tube, so the rest of London is at your doorstep.

The apartment is well laid out, full of convenient features, comfortable couches and beds - a well appointed kitchen. (The descriptions are accurate.) The owner and his managers are helpful and responsive and kind. Have stayed in a lot of places in London - this by far our favorite. We were two couples and a baby - had a wonderful visit. Highly recommended.

I had booked to stay here for my hen weekend in London but we did not actually end up staying in this apartment due to a problem with the gas, but the owner Steve contacted me and said there was another apartment available in Covent Garden at no extra cost - we were happy with that apartment and the stay was fine and everything we needed.

I did find it a little difficult to get in contact with the owner at the time of booking and made several attempts at phoning but with no answer. The only way I could make contact was via email. Having never booked on VRBO before I wanted to speak to the owner on the phone but this never happened. In the end everything turned out fine but I was a little worried.

The apartment we stayed in was fully kitted out with everything we needed for a girls city getaway. Rio was there to meet us as promised and let us drop our bags earlier than check in time.
