Our Beautiful home is located among the finest hotels in Poipu at a fraction of the cost. This home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom in a split level design. Maple hardwood floors throughout the living areas add warmth and a cozy feel.
This home is located on the southern most point of Kauai. This makes viewing the whales most exciting. They come around the point so close you can hear them! Walk 5 minutes to enjoy the Grand Hyatt Resort and Spa. There is a championship golf course next to the Hyatt. Walk the opposite way from the Hyatt and enjoy some of Kauai's finest snorkeling beaches. Poipu Beach Park is right down the street!
This home is centrally located and only 20 minutes from the airport. Poipu's shopping areas and wonderful restaurants are only 5 minute drive.

We live in California but have grown to love Kauai. We bring the family there at least 2 times a year.
Wendy Rambo purchased this house in 2001
We had first loved the north Shore and almost purchased a house there. Then this house came available thru a friend. We were so happy that we picked Poipu. The weather is sunnier and there is many things to do.
We love to go to the west side to surf. The beaches at Polihale are wonderful and secluded. The beach within walking distance is wonderful for families with small children. Poipu Beach Park is called Worlds Safest Beach! Hang out at the Grand Hyatt Spa for the day of classes and treatments. They have a day pass available to visitors.
For the past 6 years or so I have gone to the Kauai house with 4 or 5 other ladies for a week. We love it! The house is so comfortable and decorated in the island style. We love sitting on the porch for breakfast or in the evening for bridge. Location is great, the beach for swimming is only a few blocks away. Great walks above the beach starts right across the street.
I can't wait to return!
This home was exactly what our family needed for an ideal family reunion/vacation! Big enough for everyone to have their own space but cozy for family meals, gatherings in the living room as well as two beautiful outdoor seating/dining areas. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. It was also in the perfect location with great proximity to Poipu Beach, Koloa, running and hiking trails, shopping and many delicious restaurants. The house itself and the amenities that were provided went above and beyond our expectations. Not only was the kitchen fully equipped but there were also plenty of beach towels and bath towels as well as beach chairs, beach umbrellas and even sand toys that our granddaughters used on beach days. The owner was extremely pleasant, friendly, and helpful. I would highly recommend this property for a beautiful stay on Kauai!
This is a lovely home to stay in while on Kauai. It is set up perfectly if you are traveling with another couple - because the rooms are separated with there own bathroom. It was clean and well stocked. Unfortunately there was very loud construction that started at 7 in the morning and didn't stop till 6, while we were there, we weren't able to eat out on the deck which was frustrating. That isn't the owners fault though, she gave us the option to move. But we choose to stay because of how nice the home was and we figured we didn't go to Kauai to sit on a deck anyways. but if you are looking forward to sleeping in, it's not going to happen. So before booking check to make sure if the construction is still going on. Wendy is very nice and awesome to work with. We would stay there again.
This little holiday house is a cosy , clean and comfortable home away from home. Kitchen is well stocked and bedrooms and bathrooms clean and comfortable. It was unfortunate that work was happening across the road at the time of our stay but as we were out most days exploring the island it did not impact on our time too much. We enjoyed returning to the house each evening and using the barbie to cook steaks and prawns bought from the local supermarket and relax on the lounge or play some of the games provided. A lovely walk through the resort opposite takes you to the cute little beach for a swim or sun bake. A good base to use to explore the island from.
This house has a great layout. It has a separate master suite wing (bedroom and full bath) and then 2 rooms upstairs on other side with full bath. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking/eating utensils/pots/plates. The dining room table is large and so beautiful of (reclaimed?) wood. The backyard has a great grill and nice outside tables. The views are great from backyard. The front porch is a wonderful place to relax and quite private and fenced in. There are two beaches within walking distance - the beach in front of the Grand Hyatt is great to watch the surfers and for the brave, swimming. A lot of people swim there, but the surf can be rough. There is a WONDERFUL path that begins at the far end of the Grand Hyatt beach that goes for 3 miles to a very secluded beach. (forget name of beach and path - but you can look up - it isn't a secret path - well traveled by Hyatt guests). You can also drive to the beach past the horseback riding place and keep going (VERY ROUGH RIDE after the horse farm) to the parking lot for the beach if you want. I recommend the hike though - beautiful views. The other beach is Poipu beach. That is a public beach with parking if you want. The snorkeling is great there. I recommend water shoes though. The walk to Hyatt is flat and easy (10-15 min walk). The path is along the ocean. We saw whales (in air!) from the point (December). The walk to Poipu is more hilly - similar time, but down a hill and then back up! There is a long term construction project directly across the house. The noise is loud between 8am and 5pm so if you are home during the day, it would be a drag. The construction does spoil what was once an amazing view. After the project is over, the view will be better (with houses instead of a construction site). This will be a long term project so if you rent within the next year (or two), expect there to be construction. However, there is still a view of the ocean where we saw whales from the front porch. The construction does not block the view, but is part of the view. The view from the backyard is amazing (no construction). We were out during the day so construction didn't bother us much. This is a great house- very close to beach! We had 5 adults in this house and we paid a fraction of what 3 hotel rooms across the street would have cost! I recommend this house very highly - great house and great location to points west and north. I frequently use VRBO so I can compare to similar rentals.
The house was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed for enjoying the beach, cooking and relaxing. Quiet neighborhood with fantastic views to the ocean.
We had a great holiday in this home in Kauai. It is very light, airy and lovely to stay in. It easily accommodated 6 adults from 2 families. Beaches were close by with good snorkelling. The house is clean and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is well appointed and we could easily cook meals when we felt like it. Wi fi was fast. The owner Wendy was easy to deal with and sent us great tips on what to do, where to eat and how to get there.
Great house to hang out and relax in!
Since we are located a 5 minute walk from the Grand Hyatt, it is fun to book a treatment in their world renowned spa. You can use their facilities all day when you do!
