Price Waldman purchased this apartment in 2002
great neighborhood.... convenient to getting around the city.
The apartment exceeded our expectations and our hosts were very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying at this place!
I wanted to be in Carroll Gardens but close to the Manhattan bound train and this apartment is just right for both. I have stayed there many times and always find that it suits my needs well. It is an older building so don't expect a brand new apartment but it is nicely restored.
I had rented this apartment so I had a place to get ready on my wedding with my bridal party. The apartment was perfect, plenty of space for 4 girls to get ready. Amazing alternative to a expensive hotel room. The owners were so sweet and lovely, I would rent the apartment all over again just to see their smiling faces. The porch in the back is an amazing additive. My husband and I enjoyed a glass of champagne on out wedding night in the cool, quiet Brooklyn air. Such a great memory to have. Also, I have to mention the bed. Oh God, the bed!!! My maid of honor and I were obsessed. We actually took off the sheets to find out what brand it was. It was the most comfortable mattress we have ever laid on. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone staying in Brooklyn. The area is wonderful as well. So cute and authentically Brooklyn.
Nice flat, very well-equipped for our needs. Comfy bed, nice terrace. Unbeatable location with a subway stop across the street with great Manhattan access. Excellent hosts, plan on returning!
I grew up in a similar neighborhood in Brooklyn in the 1950s and 1960s, so this was a chance to relive pleasant memories.
This is an authentic neighborhood experience with mom and pop stores, small parks, and people chatting with one another outside coffee shops and on street corners.
This apartment is diagonally across the street from the Carroll Street subway station, where you can catch the F and G trains to Manhattan, Queens, and Coney Island, in Brooklyn, and transfer to trains going anywhere in the city. It's a 25-minute ride to midtown Manhattan, 15 minutes to the Lower East Side and the Wall Street area. The location could not be more convenient.
This is a clean, comfortable, air-conditioned apartment on the second floor of a three-story brownstone, on a tree-lined street with nothing but similar brownstones. It's a quiet neighborhood with minimal street noise. The bed is very confortable. Restaurants, shops, anything you might want is steps away, including excellent bagels.
I would enjoy staying here again.
Very clean and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and will stay there again when visiting our son in NYC.
