The approximately 100-year-old, traditional Sardinian house has been completely renovated and now offers modern and comfortable facilities and homely atmosphere in the heart of the small and traditional village of Milis.
The renovations were completed in June 2014. The simply decorated and well-lit house has been furnished with taste and attention to detail. The house is an ideal holiday in all seasons for 6 to 8 people maximum.
The house has a well equipped kitchen with large dining table. The extensive kitchen facilities invite you to cook, the dishwasher does the forthcoming then washing dishes.
Just off the kitchen closes at the small but cozy courtyard. During the warmer months you can enjoy breakfast here before and the evening used the grill. But even in winter you can spend so many hours in the yard, as it is well protected from all sides and the midday sun warmed him.
The house has two bathrooms and three bedrooms, each with a Doopelbett. Two bedrooms and a small bathroom on the first floor. Here the old wooden floorboards were exposed and create a warm atmosphere. On the ground floor is another bedroom, and a more spacious bathroom.
The place: Mili is a small, traditional, quiet place with about 1600 inhabitants. Within walking distance of grocery stores, fresh water sources, the post office, ATMs, a small pizzeria, a pharmacy, a tobacco shop and bars. Fresh bread can be obtained from Monday to Saturday at the butcher's, on Sunday there is the croissant pastry.
In a small, nearby parking (2 mins walk) is a shady playground (with slides, swings, climbing frame, seating ...), a bar and pizzeria, tennis court, basketball and football. Especially after a busy day it is nice to relax here over a cup of coffee or an ice cream.
Especially in the summer, the nearby small outdoor theater festival, held with Sardinian music and dance. In early August meeting every year a number of groups from around the world to participate in the traditional costume and dance festival in Milis.
Otherwise Milis is known for its particularly good citrus fruit. Originally, the place lived from trade with fruits.
The environment and recreation: Milis is very centrally located and you have every day new opportunities for the day's program.
The 90-km long coast of the province of Oristano has numerous and diverse beaches (Spiaggia dell'arco in S'archittu, Is Arenas, Su Pallosu, Marigosa, Sa Mesalonga, Putzu Idu, S'Arena Scoada, Bardoni, Is Arutas, Maimoni, Funtana Meiga, San Giovanni Sinis ..., from 15 minutes).
Visiting a archaeological site should not fail, z. B. "Pozzo di Santa Cristina" (10 minutes), "Nuraghe Losa" (15 minutes by car; everyone who comes to Sardinia must have seen at least one Nuraghe !!!) or "Tharros" (30 minutes), the ancient Roman Terme in Fordongianus (especially in the colder months is the modern thermal bath in Fordongianus very popular). The reservoir Lake Omodeo or Santu Lussurgiu and Bonarcado are also worth seeing.
In Oristano there is the Archaeological Museum. Two times a week there will be a weekly market in the open air, is available on the numerous fruits and vegetables. You get fish and cheese, flowers, pottery, all sorts of junk, clothes and shoes, kitchen utensils ...

Walking and cycling: Monte Arci, Capo Mannu, Montiferro, offer many possibilities for smaller or larger hikes or exploring by bike.
Horse riding: in Putzu Idu excursions are offered on horseback, along the coast or in Montiferro.
Surfing and kiting: especially in spring and autumn the coast around Capo Mannu both surfers, windsurfers and kiters in is very popular.
Sailing: in Torre Grande and Putzu Idu there is a tourist port. There sailboats offered for rental. One can also organized day trips by sailboat companies (eg to the uninhabited island of Mal di Ventre).
Canoeing: in S'Archittu be rented canoes.
Diving: in Putzu Idu, Torre Grande and San Giovanni Sinis there are diving schools that offer courses for beginners as well as dives accompanied by a knowledgeable local professional divers.
Fishing: both in the sea, as well as in rivers can be fished. Who kgern on open water fishes can participate to boat tours (Torre Grande).
Golfing: very close, there is the Glofplatz Is Arena.
Anyone interested in handcrafted things, should take the opportunity and visit a potters, knife maker or Steinhauer.
Throughout the year, find in Milis and the surrounding area numerous traditional festivals and modern manifestations held: z. B. on Carnival Sunday and -Tuesday takes place in Oristano the Sartiglia known in the traditionally costumed riders ride to honor and inspire with acrobatics on galloping horses, the crowd. Also culinary there is a lot to discover. Food and wine should be tested. Restaurants and holiday farms offer a varied, Sardinian cuisine, in spite of the proximity to the sea, the fish will not, for historical reasons the focus. Bottarga, Malloredus, Seadas, Veranccia, dishes based on wild fennel and asparagus, roast suckling pig ... are among the most typical delicacies.
For longer stays, it makes sense to day trips to Cagliari (1 hour), Bosa (1 hour) or to undertake Alghero (2 hours).
