The unique location and the apartment furnished according to Feng Shui offer ideal conditions to enjoy your holidays! Can.

The 2½-room apartment with private patio and grill located on the ground floor of a detached chalets, amid a large garden is on the edge with fruit trees and offers a panoramic view of the mountain range of Schynige plate. The apartment was renovated in April 2012 and completely refurbished according to Feng Shui. Since May 2012, she was first hired as a holiday home.

The location is very sunny and quiet yet central location. In two minutes walk to the bus stop and a small but fine grocery, which also offers local products. A 15 minute walk (2 km) to go on a nice walk along the Aare to the center of Interlaken and the Interlaken Ost train station. The idyllic Burgeseeli, an ideal natural lake for all age groups, is 10 minutes (1. 5 km).

Directly from the house you can bicycle tours, mountain biking and hiking company.

The Best Place to Stay

Feng-Shui Mountain View apartment!

Perfect, cozy, relaxing are just some of the words that describe this place.

We have rented several apartments abroad in the last ten years, but Feng-Shui Mountain View apartment was the very best so far.

The location was perfect! Ten minutes from Interlaken, and five minutes from Lake Brienzersee and fifteen minutes from Lake Thunersee! Magnificent views and a quiet setting.

The apartment was warm, comfortable, and full of good energy! When we came home from our excursions, this apartment was like an oasis! The spacious living room had a very comfortable sofa that could put you to sleep very easily. The large screen TV had hundreds of channels including Netflix (for those who are subscribers). And the kitchen had everything you need to cook meals or to just heat up food in the microwave or oven. Plates, utensils, flatware, etc. were strategically located for our convenience. This also included the trash bin, recycle container, and dishwasher. The shower had a place for your supplies so it’s easily accessible.

Everything in this apartment has been meticulously organized to make it easy and convenient for renters. We usually have a difficult time sleeping in a new place, but every single night that we stayed here, we all had a great sleep! We will definitely rent this apartment again if we return to this part of Switzerland!

A little piece of heaven

We loved our stay here. Sandy & family was so helpful and friendly. I had brought with me a few toys for my 5 year old daughter but Sandy brought out a huge box full of lego which kept her completely occupied at the right times so I needn't have bothered. The location of the apartment is just perfect for visiting all the wonderful sights that Interlaken has to offer. We hired a car from the airport so did not use the bus network but it was super easy to pop into Interlaken or any of the surrounding villages, which are all totally beautiful. We loved Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen particularly. This has to be one of the most beautiful spots in the world and I hope to return soon. The apartment itself has everything you could possibly need. Sandy has thoughtfully provided many of the little finishing touches that are lacking in a holiday apartment. Condiments, dish washer tablets and so on. I really don't think anyone could find anything at all amiss. The kitchen is very well equiped, we ate in for 4 of our 7 days and made packed lunches daily. Supermarkets are easily found a short drive from the apartment and a little shop is at the end of the road. Wouldn't hesitate to stay at MountainView again. Thank you for an amazing visit!

Fabulous place in a lovely setting

We loved staying at Sandy's place. It was comfortable for our family of 4 which includes two 6 feet tall teen boys. It had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. Very clean, very convenient to any number of activities in the area. Sandy was a great source of information about hiking, restaurants, and other things to do. We only wish that we had planned to stay longer!

Super stay!

Really had a great stay in Interlaken. Sandy is very helpful through out our stay starting from picking us at midnight from the station to providing every day tips on places to cover in that area. The house is at a very convenient location - 5 minute walk to the bus stop and 20 minute walk to the Interlaken Ost railway station. Additionally, the views were really good outside the home and it was overall very relaxing to stay here. The house is also kid friendly and we have a toddler who enjoyed the different toys stored in the living room as well as a crib in the bedroom. The only con is that on weekends and holidays, the bus frequency is only every 1 hour and it makes it difficult to plan your day according to the bus schedule. Also, if you are coming back late (after 9 PM), then the bus is not there and you have to either walk or take a cab. But other than this con, everything else is super comfortable. Highly recommend this place if you are in the interlaken area!!

We'll never forget our Switzerland 'home'!!

My husband and I spent a week at this chalet. Before our arrival Sandy was AMAZING! She always answered my questions about the area and provided detailed information. Upon arrival we found the chalet to be exactly as shown in the pictures. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food. We used the kitchen for almost all meals to save money - there are plenty of plates, cups, bowls and utensils. The Interlaken Ost train station is a 25-30 minute walk along the water. The return trip is a bit of a hike uphill so I recommend using the bus when possible. The chalet was perfect for exploring the area and we saw the most amazing locations - Harder Kulm, Schynige Platte, Lauterbrunnen, Murren, Allmendhubel, Gimmelwald, Kleine Scheidegg, Jungfrau, Mannlichen, Wengen, Brienz, Giessbach (check out the waterfall), Niederhorn (ride the trotti bikes at the Middle Station... so fun!!!), Thun, Grindelwald and First. I would not hesitate to stay at this chalet if we return to the area in the future. Thank you Sandy for an amazing place to stay!!

Family of 4 from USA

I have rented many properties across Europe and this is my favorite. The location and the facilities was perfect. The owner and her husband were both perfect hosts and quickly made us feel home. We travelled with two small kids and they properly had enough to keep them entertained when not sight seeing. The Interlaken Ost station is about 5min by bus that runs every 30m on weekdays and once an hour on weekends. You can also walk to the station and the takes about 20-30m with a nice walking stretch along the river.

Overall an excellent property and is highly recommended.
