Homes are very well soundproofed, only one common wall and there is no noticeable noise from adjoining unit. Easy to hear the sound of the surf at almost any time of day or night, and sunsets are gorgeous from this property. New non-toxic solid Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring in Whitewashed Oak is installed throughout the living areas for an allergy-reduced environment which is also waterproof and quiet, as well as gorgeous.

We found this townhome on VRBO and it was our home for 7 weeks! We believe it was the perfect spot between both of our kids and it was wonderful! Our new grandson was born right before our arrival and we were able to enjoy him throughout the holiday season, since we were so close to visit each other. The townhome was very accommodating to our needs. The proximity to the beach, local businesses, etc. was super. The fact that this was a gated community was an added plus to us also. We had our schnauzer with us and we loved taking her on long walks. Jacqueline and her husband were available for any questions that arose. We enjoyed our "home away from home" very much and hope to revisit in the future. We would recommend staying at this townhome!

Our 6 to 8 weeks CA home for the past 6 years!

We have been coming here every winter for 6 years, to spend 6 - 8 weeks in this lovely, beautiful home. With our son's family in Encinitas, it is a perfect spot to relax, spend time with our Grandson, with the views and the sound of the surf. We also like how convenient to town and all the natural wonders of the area. The owner takes great care of the property and has improvements each year we arrive. Jacqueline is readily available with answers to any questions and is very helpful.

Quiet, private and steps to the beach

Our stay was in early June of 2010, so the weather was pleasant, temps were comfortable, but predictably overcast. I wanted a quiet place west of Hwy 101 and this fit our needs perfectly. I had two teenage girls and I didn't want them to have to cross the busy highway to get to the beach. We swam late one night with friends at Moonlight Beach, which I really enjoyed. The living space upstairs had plenty of room, with a nice view and great to BBQ dinner on the deck. Being a gated community kept local traffic to a minimum and evenings on the deck were always peaceful and relaxing. The Coaster train station is only a short drive, so day trips to the San Diego harbor area easy. We only used the pool once, but it was fine. We came for the beach, and used it frequently. If what I've described is what you're looking for, this is your best bet.
