Please call me, Tom Stirling (owner) for more information about our beautiful Beach House at 808-755-5115. The Beach House is an oceanfront home, located on the beautiful sunny south shore of Kaua'i. It is literally 30 feet from the water’s edge. Watch the sun set every evening on the horizon, illuminating the clouds and the sky into brilliant patterns and hues. The sea turtles swim constantly at water’s edge, and the surfers perform defiant maneuvers on the blue breaking waves beyond. The house is open and Hawaiian Style and spotlessly clean.

A truly outstanding holiday!

Our family had a fantastic time at ‘Tom’s Beach House. The home was immaculate and there was attention to every detail to make our stay enjoyable. Tom is a kind, friendly host who took great pains to meet us when we arrived and show us the features of the house. It sits right next to the water; turtles swim out front and whales can be seen in the distance. There is good snorkeling a few steps away, and it’s a 3 minute drive to wonderful beach diving at old Koloa Landing. There is a lanai running across the back of the house which makes for amazing sunset viewing well having cocktails in the evening. One of the highlights of the home is the outdoor shower where you can bask in a cascade of warm water under beautiful palm trees while listening to crashing ocean waves. It is s short walk up to the shopping area where there are fun stores and great dining. We were very sad to leave and are looking forward to coming back again as soon as possible. Mahalo, Tom!

Great Beach House

This is a great property. It provides a fabulous view, is well maintained and reflects the owner's attention to detail. Sea turtles feeding in the morning, whales on the horizon, incredible sunsets and a deck that provides more than a 180 degree vista are among the key components of the house. Tom clearly wants his visitors to enjoy the island and the property and is a very responsive owner. Having stayed at a number of VRBO and Airbnb properties, we would give this one our highest ranking.

Relaxing Getaway

This is a great spot. The location is excellent and it's right on the water and south facing so it enjoys a lot of sun. You can snorkel with the turtles right out front. The house is so clean that you can eat off of the floors , is spotless and it has everything that you'd need.

Better than our first stay

Once again we have a super time at Tom's Beach House! The house is very clean and neat as a pin. This ocean location is unobstructed and watching each sunset is pure pleasure. We had more turtles feeding close up right in front of the house than at Spouting Horn! This was our second stay and are already thinking about our next stay. Thanks again Tom.

This is the best of Hawaii

This is how you spell vacation! This vacation home is well cared for, well appointed, and in a perfect location. Tom is a gracious and caring host with local insight and much aloha for his guests. The location couldn't be more ideal. Falling asleep to the sound of surf or taking an early morning dip in your backyard ocean transports you to the relaxed feel of Kauai. Swimming and snorkeling is out your back door, as are the sea turtles. Surfing is a short walk away. Shopping and dining is a walk or short drive away. The Island has much to offer and except for the north shore, the drive everywhere is very manageable. The national gardens are close by and a hike in the Grand Canyon of the Pacific should not be missed. In the end, you just don't want to leave! I guess we need to come back.

Amazing

The Beach House was immaculate and organized with everything in its specific spot. The multitude of windows kept the home very cool, and breezy. Words (even pictures) cannot express the sound of the ocean less than 30 feet away, the smell of the plumeria, or the brilliance of the 7 rainbows we saw over 4 days.

Walk to the market place and dinner choices,

Farmers market is close by also.

The Owner Tom is a great host, taking care of everything we needed and checking in after a day to ensure a pleasant vacation!

We cannot wait to come back!

About Tom Stirling

Our romance with the Hawaiian Islands began during our first vacation to the Big Island of Hawai'i in 1976. Since then my wife and I have visited many, many times. As our kids were growing up we would stay at my parent's time share condo on the Big Island for a month each summer. That never seemed to be enough for me and I was determined to purchase a home in Hawai'i and somehow eventually live there. My wife enjoyed our vacations, but was not so sure about purchasing a home in Hawai'i until we visited Kaua'i for the first time in 2001. After walking in the front door for the first time of what would soon be our Beach House in Kaua'i, she said 'Tom, if you buy this house for me I could live in Hawai'i.' Although I thought at first that she was joking, through quite a series of miracles we were able to purchase the property. Since then we attempted to make Kaua'i more and more our home. We lived at our Po'ipu Beach House part of the time each year, and spent the remainder of our time at our home in Capistrano Beach, California, where Deena was a teacher. I am a helicopter pilot, and often spent my time off at our Kaua'i home making repairs, doing routine maintenance, and renovating. I completed an extensive remodel of the property during the first half of 2008. Our kids, now grown, allowed us to have more time to enjoy the romantic and relaxing Hawaiian lifestyle and culture together. I am a water person, so I couldn't be happier with the ocean in my back yard, and the constant sound of the Hawaiian surf splashing on the seawall. My wife loved to walk to Spouting Horn, the Botanical Gardens, shopping, restaurants, and the many beaches that are close by. Our pets have been the sea turtles that live in the water in front of our home. I am now a permanent Kaua'i resident, living and enjoying the Hawaiian lifestyle in Po'ipu.
