About Bruce & Erin
We live in Los Angeles, have fallen in love with the Central Coast of California and hope to retire here someday.
Bruce & Erin purchased this House in 2008
Why Bruce & Erin chose Los Osos
We love this property because it is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, yet within walking distance to the shore of beautiful Morro Bay.
What makes this House unique
The house is in excellent condition, surrounded by lovely gardens. We enjoy the outdoor chiminea at night, and the natural gas barbecue on the side patio. In the winter it's nice to sit by the gas fireplace in the living room.

A gem on the central coast!
Bruce and Elaine were prompt and responsive whenever I had a question and were so gracious about welcoming us to their home. The info binder was full of maps and pamphlets on the various things to do in the area - so appreciated! We spent a lot of time in Morro Bay, did a daytrip to Hearst Castle, explored San Luis Obispo, and traipsed around Montana de Oro (which had our favorite beach of all). Our daughters (ages 9 and 11) loved Cuesta Cottage and had so much fun exploring the area. Best shower heads (great water pressure and temp!), super comfy beds, ample closet space, wonderfully stocked kitchen, laundry, garage + remote - we could not have asked for more! Thanks again to Bruce and Elaine for a lovely getaway!
Perfect vacation get-away
We loved Cuesta Cottage - clean, tastefully decorated, fully equipped, with a wonderful private backyard, and only a block from the bay in a quiet residential neighborhood. We had rain part of many days but were able to spend most of our time outdoors - hiking and birding. It's a great location, just down the road from Montana de Oro SP with it's magnificent trails and ocean, and close to many great birding and wildlife sanctuaries. The green hills, wildflowers, and migrating birds were amazing. Bruce and Erin were so helpful and accommodating. We hope to return again to this little piece of heaven.
Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing
We, two adults and two children enjoyed our stay immensely! The home is a 💎!!!
It is located in a truly beautiful, quiet and serene location. Everything inside the home and around the property exceeded our expectations. We found books to read, games to play and movies to watch during the long Winter evenings. The amazing chimney in the living room area flickered peacefully engulfing us with the colors and warmth of a relaxing time. The tasteful decorations throughout, inside and outside, sparked the artsy flames within us all. Thank you for sharing your lovely place with us! 🙏 We will be back! 😊
Great location, accommodations and wonderful, responsive hosts!
Erin and Bruce were very accommodating and had everything needed for a great family stay!
Loved the house and location. Nice, quiet neighborhood near everything. A few minutes to the grocery store. A few more minutes to the embarcadero at Morro Bay. The homeowners were very easy to contact when needed. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
Clean and Comfortable
Our family of four enjoyed our stay at Cuesta Cottage. It was clean and comfortable with pleasant outdoor sitting areas. Located in a quiet neighborhood, with access to a nice walking path along the bay just up the street. Other opportunities for walks/ hikes abound, in nearby Elfin Forest and Montaña de Oro State Park.
Birdwatching hot spots, hike across the sand dunes to the ocean, walk down to the bay and boat launch areas, walk to the Golf Course and Clubhouse Restaurant, walk to Sweet Springs Nature Preserve, walk to Baywood Espresso Bar and Restaurants.
