About Pam Meyer
The Smoky Mountains offers so many of the things I love to do; hike, bird watch, looking for flowers and waterfalls. Living at the beach, while very beautiful, I do appreciate the change of scenery and being among the giant trees and seeing the beautiful mountain vistas. I work very hard and am always excited to head to my mountain home and relax a bit. (as an Amelia Island Realtor I am never really 'off-duty'). I enjoy bringing friends or family with me to hike the trails and share a meal on the porch and take in the view from the cabin.
Pam Meyer purchased this Cabin in 2007
Why Pam Meyer chose Sevierville
I was a very picky purchaser and I am sure I drove my Realtor crazy looking at everything that came close to meeting my specific needs. I had to have a fantastic view with a feeling of privacy and a comfortable, newer cabin with 2 living areas. When this one came on the market I made a quick 8 hr drive up to see it and then back the next day. I called to make the offer and someone else had beat me to it. Amazingly their deal fell through and I was able to step in an purchase the cabin. I chose this cabin because it has AMAZING views, is private yet close to the Park (centrally located between the Greenbrier entrance and the Main, Sugarlands entrance) and was much nicer than so many I looked at. I love the 3 decks and having the main living room plus the downstairs family room with the game table and TV entertainment. We always have a great time!
What makes this Cabin unique
Waking up in the morning and looking outside first thing is when the view is especially gorgeous and makes me smile and feel happy to be alive. It is close to shopping the Arts and Crafts community as well as the grocery store and good restaurants off the beaten path. I love NOTseeing other cabins around me, but knowing they are nearby if needed. I appreciate the option of some of us being upstairs enjoying conversation and others downstairs watching a movie or playing a game.

The view is breathtaking.
The view is breathtaking and the house is beautiful. Gatlinburg is beautiful.
Exactly as advertised!
We had three "must-haves." A covered porch (this one had three), a beautiful view and remote location. All boxes were checked by this property. And the owner, Pam, was a delight to work with. She was available and attentive to all of our needs. We will return.
Great place to stay
The view is spectacular! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's just a few minutes from Gatlinburg, but it is very quiet. It is next to the last cabin on that stretch of road, so passing traffic is at a minimum. We will be looking into this cabin again next year.
Very relaxing cabin, with beautiful scenery. It was very peaceful.
The cabin was provided with everything we needed to make our trip worryfree. Very secluded area but, close to all of the restaurant, shopping and activities. The owner Pam, is fantastic to work with was a pleasure, throughout our trip! The name of this cabin See Forever is a perfect fit, off of the back deck all you can see are trees and mountains that look like eternity. The four of us had a great time and enjoyed a little time away from home😊
Thank you and I am happy you enjoyed your visit and the cabin and especially that it was worry free! I also like that it feels secluded, but is not too far from great hiking and food and all the area has to offer.
Cozy Private Cabin with very little to complaint about
The cabin is perfectly located to give you privacy and a view that never gets old. All of the back porches face out onto a view of the mountains that is just amazing. It's located in the perfect spot so that a trip into Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg is quick. Starting from the beginning, there is just enough space to park 3 or 4 vehicles in front of the cabin. That should be enough, given that the Cabin is meant for up to 8 people.
The front door has a key pin entry, which is convenient, but the bolt can get a little stuck. Upon entering, you are in the kitchen/dining/living room area. There are two couches and a bench style dining table in this area. The TV in the living room is quite small, but I don't think that's an issue. Hopefully, you're not coming to the mountains to watch TV. There is ample counter space with lots of cook wear available. The back wall is basically all glass to look out and view the mountains. You can step out onto a large balcony with a hot tub and two chairs. The hot tub is very nice and is perfect for relaxing and taking in the scene.
Upstairs is a small loft area with another couch and one of the bedrooms. The bedroom is quite large and has a bathroom and and a balcony to view the mountains. If you go back down stairs and into the basement you will get the game room and a bed room. The game room and bedroom both have doors leading out to a shared balcony. There is a washer and dryer in a closet area that were very useful during our stay. There is a pool table, but it is practically unusable given that the pool sticks are both missing the tips. There is a couch, an arm chair and another TV behind that. This TV is larger than the one in the living room upstairs and the couch has a pull out bed. There are extra sheets and blankets in a closet in the cabin for use if you end up needing to utilize the pull out. There is a Jacuzzi tub in the main bedroom on the ground floor as well as a shower.
Overall, the cabin exceeded my expectations. I do recommend taking time stamped photos of your arrival as there was a dispute about the state we left the cabin in. The owner, to her credit, was very understanding and refunded my full security deposit. I recommend this cabin to anyone looking for an affordable and memorable stay in the mountains.
I am glad the cabin exceeded your expectations and your review reads like a 5 star review so the 3 stars must reflect the dog issue. I am sure you understand my dilemma when the cleaner reports and sends photos of evidence of a dog staying in the cabin and you insisting there was no dog with you. As we discussed, I think the best solution for these situations is for me to install an outside security camera like many of the cabins have and this should hopefully prevent any controversy in the future. Time stamped photos of arrival and departure would be welcomed, but hopefully not needed. None of us enjoys disputes and we want our guests to enjoy their whole experience and have wonderful memories. Also, this week's guest told me about the pool sticks missing tips and the leg assemblies in need of repair so that is taken care of. I would have been happy to take care of that for you if I had known. I appreciated your calm attitude as we worked our way through the issue.
The perfect spot for a family getaway
We were even more impressed with "See Forever" than we could have expected. It was quaint, comfortable, and the views were more terrific than I could have hoped. The back of the house on all levels opens up to a perfect mountain view. We enjoyed a sunset from the hot tub... perfect. Also, compared to other vacation rentals I have visited, the kitchen had everything we needed and there were little niceties such as packaged soaps in the bathrooms.
It was easy to get to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge -- just a short drive in either direction.
I highly recommend!
Thank you and I am thrilled you found everything better than expected! That view along with a sense of privacy were key components of why I choose that cabin as well as the convenience to the Park system.
Pigeon Forge with Dollywood, Splash Mountain and all the attractions for the family, Smoky Mountain National Park with exceptional hiking and beautiful drives, Arts and Crafts Community where you can look for days at various shops featuring locally made arts and crafts. Festivals, arts, music events. Arrowmont Arts and Crafts school. Wildflower and photography walks.
