About Linda

We have been property owners (long term rental homes) for over 40 years. We fell in love with Estes Park and the mountains and wanted to spend more of our time here. We purchased Pine Cone Cabin in 2004 and it has been everything we had wanted in a vacation home. We now have the wonderful opportunity to share our home with our special guests and see the joy they find in the Estes Park and Rocky Mountain area!

Linda purchased this house in 2004

Why Linda chose Estes Park

Pine Cone Cabin is in a unique location. Located on a private, in-town, road. Close to all of the attractions, restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, and RMNP, yet you have nice privacy and a truly beautiful setting at the cabin. You will be staying on your own piece of the mountain and will love the surroundings!

What makes this house unique

The beautiful, private, location, yet close enough to walk to town is so unique. Kind of the best of everything! Comfortable for couples and families.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We really enjoyed out stay here. The highlight of our whole trip was watching 15 elk walk by the cabin on the little path next to the cabin. What an experience!

Great mountain house!

  • 5 of 5

This house is amazing! We loved the setting feeling like we were secluded from the hustle and bustle but really we were very close to town. The views from the large deck are outstanding. The hot tub was pretty awesome! The beds are very comfortable and the house has the amenities that you need to make all meals and feel at home. I will definitely check out this house (and her others in town) next time I need a place to stay in Estes!

Windy outside but cozy inside

  • 4 of 5

Thanks for your lovely mountain home. It is maintained very nicely with plenty of space for everyone. Our plan was to enjoy the great RMNP on snowshoes but the windy windy weather made it very inclement. The cozy home with the fireplace crackling and laughter of girlfriends was the best alternative. Thank you!

Fabulous House for our Stay.

  • 4 of 5

The Pine cone cabin was just what we needed for our Family. The Separate living areas worked perfect for all of us to have our own space. In the summer it would be very convenient to walk into town, just far enough to be private but close enough to be convenient. It was clean with nice linens and comfortable beds. Can't say enough good things, thanks Linda for taking care of us...

Excellent cabin for our Christmas gathering

  • 4 of 5

Cozy cabin that accommodated 4 adults well. A little misleading to be able to walk to downtown especially in the winter. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent fireplaces.

Owner's Response: I am happy you enjoyed your stay and found the cabin clean and comfortable. I have many guests who walk into town from the home all year long and tell me what a wonderful location it is and that they leave the car at home. It is a “walk”, and not a “stroll”. Being in the mountains this would be what most people would expect for a mountain town. Having a fireplace and a wood stove is nice during cold weather and with plenty of firewood right at the home for your use makes it easy. I’m glad it was a good stay.

A great stay!

  • 5 of 5

I loved staying here with my bridal party of 4 people total. There was tons of space and enough room for all of us to be comfortable in the upstairs or downstairs living room. The fireplaces and balconies were amazing to gather around. There was even tons of firewood already cut and the hot tub warming up for us before we even got there. The stars were beautiful and the Home had everything we needed and more. The parking is a little tricky but we didn’t have any problems. Definitely worth checking out.
