My wife Debbie and I started this business in 2002 because of the frustration we felt in trying to find Pet Friendly vacation accommodations. We have traveled with our pets for years. Some of the places we stayed were less than clean, and it was obvious by the smell that the accommodations allowed pets. We vowed when we started our vacation rental business that all of our homes would be pet friendly and all squeaky clean. Other pet peeves (excuse the pun) is that many of the rental houses we stayed at did not have matching dishes or silverware or glasses and; the pots and pans were either dented, burned or missing. So we also vowed to include everything we could think of to furnish our kitchens including matching dishes, silverware, glasses, a full set of pots and pans, coffee maker, blender, and crock-pot. It now tickles us when we hear guests say they couldn't find anything we did not have. We think you will find our prices very competitive to other rental homes, and we believe our quality and attention to detail exceeds our competition. I'm not referring necessarily to expensive furniture or furnishings, but rather to cleanliness, comfort and tasteful decorations; and not to mention our kitchens being fully equipped. The most common comment we receive from our guests is that our homes are much nicer than the pictures portray. The greatest compliment to our effort is the increasing number of repeat guests that have turned into great friends.

Great location! Great space!
My boyfriend's parents have been traveling to Destin for decades and they've always rented condos in the Holiday Isle section of Destin. This summer (after not visiting for 7 years), we decided we wanted a single-family house so we can bring our pups. After looking at several rentals, we settled on this property due to location and availability.
Location: On the section of Crystal Beach. Mainly single-family homes in communities. This community is itty bitty and is on a dead end street. The walk from the home to the beach is about 5 minutes. CLOSE!
Beach: emerald green water! You can't beat it. When we were there in mid-Sept. it was never super busy. The access to the beach is through a private gate.
-we loved the pool in the back. While it isn't big, it's big enough to just lounge around. It was nice to have be able to jump into the pool after a full day on the beach.
-while we only had 4 people in group, the room has plenty of room for many more! The bunk beds would come in handy for a family with a lot of kids.
-the home was completely tiled (which is smart since the home is pet friendly)
-the beds were comfortable
-the kitchen is tiny! It's a narrow space so it's hard for two people to fit in the space. Also, I think it would make a world of different if the property owner's would have basic ingredients stocked (salt, pepper, sugar, coffee filters).
-the A/C had a tough time cooling the 2nd floor.
-Golf Cart: comes in handy when you have to lug stuff out to the beach.
Overall, we had a great time staying at this property! Would consider renting it again on our next Destin trip (hopefully it won't be 7 years until our next trip!).

The Aqua Terra home is a fabulous place to stay. It had everything we were looking for in a pet friendly vacation rental. We felt very much at home here.
What impressed us the most was the cleanliness of the home & property, as you never know what your getting yourself into with a "pet friendly rental." We completely enjoyed our stay at Aqua Terra! The home is beautiful, very comfortable and in an excellent neighborhood. The fenced area for the dog was a great feature. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the patio beside the pool and our large master bedroom. The walk to the beach really is a very short and enjoyable one. We would definitely stay at Aqua Terra again!

This was our second year ...
This was our second year staying at Aqua Terra, and as I expected everything was perfect. It's our favorite "home" away from home. Our pups enjoyed being outside and spending our vacation with us. We will be back again next year!

We had a wonderful time staying in the Aqua Terra. It is a beautiful home and so convenient to the beach. We especially enjoyed the golf cart -- that was great! We would love to come back next year.
Aqua Terra is in the center of beach activities, great shopping, golf, deep sea fishing, and fabulous restaurants - and plenty of entertainment for the kids (regardless of age), water parks, go carts, aquarium, movie theater and more. Aqua Terra is located just off Scenic Highway 98, a great walking and biking area up and down the Crystal Beach area. In additional to our private pool, the development has a community pool, tennis courts (so bring your rackets), and sand volley ball court.

Rates are based on a minimum of 12 guests, additional guests above 12 to a maximum of 14 is $100.00/wk per person plus taxes. Check-in 4:00PM, Check-out 10:00AM. Pool Heating optional $85/day $500/week. A Street Legal Golf Cart is available for use. Please call for Pricing Details. Must be over 25 to operate Golf Cart. Pet Fees: 1st Pet under 50# $20/day, Each add'l pet is $15/day.(If the 1st pet is over 50# it is $25/day) If you have add'l pets please call 850-687-3695 Property manager. Cancellation of Reservations. Cancellation of reservations must be made sixty (60) days or more prior to arrival. A cancellation fee equal to 20% of the total rental amount will be charged on all canceled reservations more than sixty (60) days prior to arrival. Late cancellations with less than sixty days notice (90 days for long term rentals) will result in forfeiture of the full advance deposit. Long-term, advance monthly rentals must give ninety (90) days notice of cancellation prior to arrival. Cancellation and/or early departure due to inclement weather does not warrant any refund of rent. The cancellation loss may be avoided if “Travel Insurance” is purchased. Written notice is required for all cancellations. Monthly Rentals: Utilities included however if electric exceeds $300 you will be billed the difference.
