Surprise! I had a WONDERFUL stay . . .

and it was soooo clean! My family and I have stayed at this condo for a month's vacation twice now and we have full intentions of returning again next year.

When you enter the condo, it feels fresh and welcoming. Located in a gated community, it affords us a feeling of security and privacy. Totally outfitted for convenience, the condo itself has everything you may have forgotten at home - and just a little bit more!

My relationship with the owner has been easy and, at this point, he feels more like family than anything else. From security deposits through exiting the condo, he is cordial and available by phone to answer any questions you may have during your visit.

The amenities attached to the condo are available for a reasonable fee when you rent the condo for a month. We especially enjoyed the water shuttle to the beach and the workout facility!

I would never recommend any product without having tried it. Same goes for condos. I've stayed in many, enjoyed quite a few and didn't enjoy my stay in others. In regard to this condo, I give it a 5 star rating... and I am very particular!

Not a good experience

We did not have a honest or forthcoming rental with the owner. He took most of our security deposit and accused us of ruining items that we never touched. There are few amenities that you can use at the facillity without paying an exorbitant fee. The listing described really is not what you will receive. The pool chairs rotted through and I fell through and hurt my back.

Mostly we were so upset about ridiculous aspects such as washing his faux oriental floor mat and ruining his Ralph Lauren towels.

We have never had problems before renting. To be accused unjustly just really tends to ruin your experience of even returning to the Naples area. Don't rent from him.

Owner's Response: This tenant and their college age son rented over the xmas holiday for one week. The son did more damage in one week than any previous monthly or multimonth tenant in our history of rentals and we have 4 units which have rented for the past 3 years the entire season without any negative reviews. A small amount was deducted from there security for 4 towels supplied to them that were returned with large holes ripped into them ,a broken wine glass , a bath carpet damaged in the wash,torn shower curtains and some missing silverware. The coffee maker had been left on and luckily did not cause a fire. There is a transfer fee for use of the Tarpon Cove Yacht and Racquet club which they elected not to pay the additional charges. The fee Is quite reasonable for the extent of the amenities for monthly rentals [ including water shuttle to beach, fullservice tennis club , restaurant, gym workout room,large pool area with chi chi bar and lunch service.] We are sorry to have had to deduct for the damages. It is highly unusual as our tenants: usually retired couples always return the unit in immaculate condition. I am also sorry she was so upset. I don't think her son was honest with her regarding the damage. It is unfortunate ,as she had expressed what a wonderful time they had before this issue. Dr. Mal
