Our home is situated on a half acre of land and the adjacent parcel is undeveloped and its unlikely it ever will be developed since our neighbors want to preserve the amazing views all around us. Our home has180 degrees views of the many mountain ranges which surround us. There are some who say #12 Los Altos has the best views of El Salto Mountain in the area - our views from inside and outside our home are definitely amazing!! Sit in our private hot tub and get swept away by the stars or the sunset...

Never disappoints!

This is our fourth time staying at this property, and it never disappoints. Location is terrific, and the house is very comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast by a blazing fire with snow falling outside...how can you beat that?

Perfect ski house

Beautiful home! Nice, open floor plan with everything you need! Only minutes to the ski slopes, quiet, and kid friendly neighborhood. Right next door to the pool, tennis/basketball courts and lots of land for the kids to run safely.

Spring Break 2016

My family and another family traveled to Taos for Spring break. Our trip included snow skiing and snowmobiling. Beth and Joel's home was just as promised. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and had absolutely gorgeous views out of the stunning windows in the home. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. It was wonderful getting to make and sit by the fireplace each day. A lot of thought and attention has has been put into this rental making it feel like home. Nancy, the care taker, was very pleasant and helped us with a ride into town in order to pick up a rental car.

I would recommend this home to anyone and would love to go back and stay for a couple of weeks. The prairie dogs were fun to watch each morning and the sunsets were like none other. The neighborhood was very peaceful and well kept.

Our drive to the Taos Valley Ski slopes was very easy and quick (appox. 20 min)

Wonderful home for a short or long stay in the Taos area

Just returned from a very nice 3 night stay in this comfortable, well designed home. The location is perfect for exploring the Taos area and the setting is private with great views. We loved the great room/kitchen/dining area with it's 2 fireplaces and comfortable seating. The master bedroom/bath suite is a lovely private retreat. Clearly, the owners want their guests to have a memorable experience because this house has everything you could ask for in a home away from home.

Wonderful stay in a lovely place

We stayed here last week with a family of 6. Joel & Beth are pretty much the ideal version of folks you want to rent from: Joel had answers to my questions within minutes of emailing, we got all the required instructions & information a week before we were to arrive. I was overly reliant on my smart phone & didn't print out any of the information before our family of 6 reached the rental & found to my dismay that I could not download the information. I texted Joel with my predicament & within minutes, I had the information I needed to enter the home & log into the wifi & get the other information I needed.

The home is lovely & has fantastic views & we really enjoyed using that space as a base for our exploration of the places nearby. The Taos Ski Valley is gorgeous & there are plenty of lovely places to explore.

The rental has all the tableware, pots & pans you'd need in the kitchen & plenty of towels & sheets for a family of 6.

The only thing I wish was better was the beds - but that might just be a personal preference for firmer mattresses.

Perfect Ski Trip

My family and I took a spring break ski trip to TSV in March 2015. Typically we stay at a hotel in town but this year we decided to look for a house in which to stay. It was an excellent change from our normal plan. Beth and Joel were extremely professional with the rental agreement. A week before our stay Beth and Joel emailed us detailed instructions for everything from how to work the cable tv to how to work the hot tub. The house had all of the kitchen supplies we needed during our stay as well as plenty of bedding and towels. The house was extremely close to the mountain, literally only 10-15 minutes away. After a day of skiing, the hot tub was a wonderful way to wind down and relax. I highly recommend this house especially for families wanting to stay close to the ski valley.
