Take advantage of being on 'The Top' in Sanibel's Best. The beach and water can be seen from the balcony, the living room, and the kitchen. In 2009, Our home away from home, Sanibel #1804 was placed on the rental market and owner operated since day one. Due to the well designed lay-out of this 1,236 sq.ft. condo all personalities can be fulfilled at the same time. Togetherness and/or privacy, all at the same time. How?. On one end of the condo is the living area which offers an amazing gulf view while the 2 bedrooms each with their own bath. The Living area has comfortable sofas along with 2 chaise lounge chair to make watching a 42' flat screen TV just a liittle better. Watch tv for a while then tune in to the ocean to see what's jumping in the morning waters. Also, in the living area is a kitchen that is well supplied with anything one could possibly need for a vacation. Coffe pot, toaster, knives, pans, pots, plastice plates, glass plates, plastic cups, glass cups, wine glasses. Of course, you'll find a mixer.

At this point, I have many repeat customers. In fact 75% of my guests are repeats therefore the cabinets are stocked with everyday needs from the previous guests, such as salt, pepper, coffee, water bottles, etc. My guests seem to take an interest in making sure the the next guest doesn't arrive short handed.

Being 'on top' offers the advantage of more privacy, quietness and better view.( NO NOISY FOOTSTEPS OVERHEAD TO POSSIBILLY KEEP YOU AWAKE AT NIGHT.)

This condo has a contemporary decor with up to date beach colors/accessories.

The living room has 2 black chaise loungers, love seat, full size sofa sleeper, and a 42 inch television with DVD player. Custom made white linen drapes hang over the 30 X 8 foot wall to wall glass windows which gives one the option to close out the rest of the world if desired.

The two identical bedrooms are situated completely opposite of the main area however water views are obtainable of The Lagoon. To ensure a good nights’ sleep, each bed is equipped with new, quality mattresses dressed with 600 count sheets and fine bed spreads. TV's and DVD's in each bedroom. In addition to wooden slat blinds the bedroom windows are draped with custom-made designer curtains. The master bedroom has a king size bed while the guest room has a queen size bed. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom. Each bathroom includes private toilet area, granite counter top, dual sinks, and tub/shower. All topped off with apt supply of luxury, color coordinated towels.

The granite countertop kitchen is completely furnished with toaster, blender, coffee pot, silverware, full set of knives, linens, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with ice-maker and a four burner electric stove. Plastic and glass place settings for 8 servings are tucked away in the cabinets along with plenty of pots/pans for vacation cooking.

Nine year old Sanibel is located approximately 2.5 miles from I-59 on West Beach Blvd.. A short walk across West Beach Blvd. and you’re at public accessibility to the beach which includes a portable potty and shower. Because Sanibel is located in a newly established area it’s easy to find a spot on the beach. No crowded beaches... yet just minutes away from family and fast food restaurants, grocery stores and entertainment. Super Wal-Mart, Wal-greens, and liquor stores are all less than 15 minutes away.

If the sandy beach is not for you Sanibel has you covered. A heated swimming pool and work out area with sauna is located on the 2nd floor. Of course, The Lagoon in the back offers excellent fishing. Ladies, don't want to fish either....No problem. The Tanger Outlet mall which is loaded with many name brand stores is only 17 minutes away. If the outlet mall is not your style, The Wharf is only 16 minutes away. The upscale Wharf has something for every member of the family. Guy Harvey shops for the guys, specialty shops for the ladies and ice-cream shops/ferris wheel for the young at heart.

I encourage repeat and responsible renters and give special consideration to my repeat customers. Our housekeeper, Pam Anderson, is a local individual and when we say spotless...we mean spotless! You can always be assured to have a thoroughly sanatized and clean unit. I use this condo as a second home and cleanliness is top priority. Her services are $95 one time charge.

My goal is to create a relaxing and comfortable get away for you and your family while still feeling at home.

About Dennis

I'm a retired shipbuilder from South Louisiana and live adjacent to the Honey Island swamp in Slidell Louisiana. My back yard is occupied by 3 pet dogs and 29 Mallard ducks along with 100 + Black Belly Whistling Tree Ducks. I visit 1804 on a regular basis where many of my friends from over the years have relocated to that area.

Fresh seafood and friendly people are my favorites... and there is plenty of both plenty sun and sand. The photo above is of my baby girl and me on her 50th Birthday!!!!!

Why Dennis chose Alabama

I was seeking a beach home with a laid back atmosphere. The 18th floor penthouse was new and offered a safe and secure package with an element of quietness. The security service and property maintenance are top notch.

What makes this condo unique

The condo was constructed post hurricane Ivan and built with the highest standards for strength and safety. It is professionally maintained by our awesome housekeeper, Pam Anderson. Cleanleness is my top priority. I have high quality furnishings, regular updates, convenient location, great view, and personal attention.

Hi Mr. Good,

We want to thank you so much for our stay at Sanibel. We had a wonderful time. We were really impressed with the condo. It was so nice, the furnishings, just everything. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you could possibly need. I think there was more in that kitchen than mine at home! Lol. Plus all the beach extras there to use. Also, so so clean. Please tell the lady that does the cleaning she does a fabulous job.

We showed pics to everyone & now they can't wait to book your condo.

As for the oil, there were no signs of oil. Booms are set up at the harbors throughout that area & there is one set up to block the lagoon by the condo. If it weren't for those being set up as a precaution, you wouldn't know anything was going on. No smell of oil at all either. The beaches were open & there were people on them. We spent some time at the beach & was in the water. Everything seems to be just fine right now.

I want to thank you again for our stay. We will be back. I'm due in December so I was thinking maybe in the fall we could take us one more weekend away!!!

Wow, What a great condo.

My sister and I really enjoyed the condo, although the beach was across the street, you wouldn't know it from looking out the balcony door. We loved having our own bedroom with its own bath room. Dennis was very helpful, just a phone call or a text away. Condo was fully equipped with every thing we needed including chairs for the beach and other items. WE LOVED IT!

We had a relaxing and rejuvenating week at Sanibel 1804. The condo was beautifully furnished and comfortable. Little touches of home made it extra-cozy. It was extremely clean and everything was ready for immediate use. Things such as spices, paper towels, paper plates, and any cooking tool you need was provided. The view was spectacular and looking out over the ocean and beach houses across the street made us feel as if we were members of a beach town and not just on vacation! The condo was quiet and the elevators worked quickly, so being in the penthouse did not bother us at all! The walk across the street to the beach was short and stress free. The pool was big and well-maintained. Dennis was a WONDERFUL about responding to questions. We will definitely make a return trip here!

A great stay at a quiet part of the beach. Clean, very well equipped unit in a really nice complex. 3rd time staying in Sanibel, first time in this unit. Great views, owner was extremely helpful in answering questions and providing assistance. Would stay again.
