Great place for our 12-person group. Our first trip to Angel Fire - Bunker Hill has plenty of room for the grandsons to get out and play in the snow; we loved watching the deer pass by.
Ski trip with friends
Great location and plenty of room for our 3 families. The house was clean and well maintained. We were unaware the dryer was not working until we had washed a load of clothes and then could not dry them. That was the only issue we had.
Christmas at bunker hill
Family had a great time. There were a few issues with the heating but it was always taken care of right away. We would definitely go back.
We are pleased that the guests enjoyed themselves in our Bunker Hill home. Having one of two furnaces fail is no fun for anyone, especially on Christmas Eve. Fortunately we found a repairman and got it working. A few hours later Murphy’s law stepped in and the second unit failed. Again it was repaired quickly. So all ended well.
We hope the Griffins return soon and request a discount as returning guests. Summers are great in the mountains.
Amazing views and plenty of space.
We had a fantastic time at Bunker Hill. We had Thanksgiving dinner here and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils needed. We had plenty of space and the brand new playpen came in handy for my 5month old. We were a little disappointed that the drive way was not cleared. We arrived after dark and had a hard time getting into the driveway on either side. We had to park close to the road until morning. We also had a power outage during our stay, I would suggest an emergency bag with flash lights and candles. It was only out for a few hours so not too bad. The kids enjoyed the sleds provided.
Roads to the house
This property is a roomy house. Plenty of room for a crowd. It has easy access into Angel Fire. My husband road his Harley and said the gravel road is not motorcycle. friendly. The owners were quick to respond to any questions concerning our stay.
The house accommodated our family (8 adults and 5 children. We didn’t realize the “cave room” had such a low ceiling but it was great for the kids. Some of the chairs were unstable but the owner informed me that they were replacing them. The kitchen was good sized and had everything we needed.
Carla was an excellent guest. The day she informed us of the chair situation I immediately ordered 12 new chairs and will have them installed with 10 days.
Carla please come back.
As of October 2016, This property now has Fiber optics internet at speeds up to 50 Gbps. Wow!!
Property was newly renovated in April/May 2019, including new wood flooring and totally painted.
