The Insectitarium (BUG museum), DDay museum, Aquarium, World Trade Center, arts district, Magazine Street, Harrah's casino, it's all right here. Certain events like Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest will be charged a higher rate. There is no longer anyplace to put that information under rates.....

About The Owner

We love our location, and everyone that ever visits tells us how much they love it too.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2009

Why The Owner chose Garden District

We love all of the amenities in the building. The pool, and the gym, the location, the view are all wonderful.

What makes this condo unique

2 great comfy bedrooms, 2 full baths. FREE and easy gated parking. Easy to get everywhere. If we don't want to drive, we grab a taxi. It costs about $ 8.00 for two people to ride to the other end of the FQ. Much cheaper than parking there. There must be at least 30 restaurants within 1/4 mile. Emeril's, NOLA, Tommy's, Mothers being some of the more well known ones.

Happy Customer

  • 5 of 5

Place was GREAT!!!! Exactly as I had hoped. We needed close to convention center and still close to French Quarter. This property is gated and very secure. We loved the pool and the unit had all the amenities anyone needs. Much better than a hotel and lots more room. This place accommodated 4 adult and 2 teens with NO problem. Would definitely recommend to families or couples wanting to visit NOLA!

Essence Festival Approved!!!

  • 5 of 5

Myself and 3 friends came down to NOLA for Essence Festival and we were nervous yet excited we would actually be staying in a condo versus an overpriced small hotel room. This condo was awesome! It was huge, more than enough space and stocked with everything we needed including ice and bottled water, even though we went to the grocery store and grabbed our own supply. The balcony was small but was pleasant since we could look right out and see the convention center. Being on the 4th floor wasnt bad either since there was parking available on the same floor. There was 1 issue with the iron being unavailable but a quick toss in the dryer solved that problem. We were 30 minutes walking distance from canal street and bourbon street but nothing a quick uber ride didnt solve. I would definitely recommend this location and hope its available next year! :)

Owner's Response: Hi Ladies! So happy ya'll had a fun and safe and comfortable Essence Festival experience. I hope you got to see Oprah! I'm sorry about the iron, and wish you'd had a chance to find the back up in the guest bedroom closet. Oh well, I know you were excited to get on with the fest! Ya'll come back!

Fabulous place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four had a fabulous stay at the Saulet! Everything in the pictures is accurate. Things I absolutely loved: parking garage level with our hauling stuff up stairs, large condo, comfy beds, location...walkable to quarter or 10.00 cab ride, beautiful grounds...pool was awesome. Minor drawback for us was street noise, but brought our sound machines to drown it out. We hope to return soon!! Thanks so much!

Owner's Response: Thank you so very much for taking the time to write a review Pam. I appreciate it!. Yes, New Orleans can be quite noisy at times in many areas of the city, and although I'm glad you hauled your noise machines as I do when I travel, but there are two already in the unit. One is located in both bedrooms. Perhaps you didn't notice the one in the second bedroom bc it is on the lower shelf of the dresser. God bless! Come back!

Great Condo

  • 5 of 5

My family was so happy I found this condo. So much better than a hotel and the location and parking was definitely a bonus. Very convenient to everything. Kathryn and Rose were a pleasure to work with so the process of renting this condo was easy. Will definitely be saved in my favorites. Thanks for sharing your condo.

A satisfied guest

  • 4 of 5

I just returned from spending 4 nights with a coworker in this condo while we were in town for a conference. We needed to be near the convention center, and this appeared to be our answer and was cheaper than a hotel. While technically within walking distance, it is a little far and you have to cross a busy street. It was not a huge problem for us, but those with mobility issues, young children, or those opposed to long walks may not be as satisfied. The condition of the condo was great. It was clean and provided a comfortable place to stay. There were no issues with the cable TV or the WiFi. Both worked as expected. Walmart is a short drive away if you need it. We didn't use the kitchen, but the ability to cook your own meals if you wish is great. If you plan to visit Bourbon Street, be prepared for a 25-30 minute walk. In short, I would recommend this condo to friends and would consider staying there again. Doing business with Kathryn and Rose was an easy experience. Thanks for a good visit!

Owner's Response: Hi Chris. Thank you for your review. Just to clarify. We are the ONLY private home community located across from the convention center. All other buildings across the street are hotels. Also, there is a red light on the corner that assist with crossing the wide Blvd. that is Tchoupitoulas St. New Orleans downtown traffic is heavy everywhere. I never drive in Nola. I park my car in the gated lot, and I walk. I'm 60 years old. If raining I'll still walk to the convention center. If raining hard I'll take a cab to the FQ; which is 2 miles away. The convention center building is literally a mile wide, and it is covered from end to end. I'm glad you found the condo enjoyable. Ya'll come back!
