Sun Lakes is an adult, resort-style community, located just south of Phoenix, AZ.
This immaculate ranch style home provides 1,775 square feet of gracious, open, relaxed living space. It boasts a formal dining room for all of your entertainment needs, along with a dine-in area in the kitchen.
The kitchen is loaded with storage space, and is totally equipped to prepare simple to gourmet meals. The living room has both sofa and loveseats, with 4 recliners built in – very cushy. The living room and Arizona room have spectacular views of the golf course. As does the office, which has built in storage, files, computer docking station, and internet hookup. The dining room looks to an east facing covered patio, with jasmine vines and 5 mature citrus trees – fresh grapefruit, oranges, and lemons within arms reach, in season. The north covered patio looks to a beautiful desert landscape with lush greenery, palm trees, and the 8th and 9th fairway beyond, where you can entertain your guests after a hearty bar-b-q, or just kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet. Some evenings, you may choose to stroll along the lakes and green belts. The floors are easy care tile and wood. There are 2 master bedroom suites, each separated from the common areas with its own privacy door. The larger bedroom looks out on the golf course, and accesses the Arizona room.
The Cottonwood County Club offers an 18 hole golf course, library, restaurant, lounge, ballroom, hobby rooms, lapidary shop, lighted tennis courts, spa, Jacuzzi, and outstanding heated pool. The rest of the Sun Lakes community provides 4 more golf courses, heated pools, club houses, spas, exercise rooms, aerobics, tennis courts, racquet ball, billiards, miniature golf, shuffle board, bingo, and restaurants. There are also fine dining restaurants in the Palo Verde and Oakwood country club communities, and poolside dining at the Poolside Café in Oakwood. Sun Lakes offers many adult classes including woodworking, pottery, lapidary, dancing. There is also periodic live entertainment on site.
Our home is located 22 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Within minutes you are able to enjoy all the benefits of a major metropolitan area, major league teams, extensive arts and cultural communities. It is a short drive to Phoenix and Scottsdale for shopping and gourmet dining. Horse, dog, auto racing, and casinos are nearby.
It is a 4 hour drive to the Grand Canyon, 2 hours to Sedona, 1 ½ hours to Tucson, and then a short drive to Tombstone. There are many group sightseeing trips in and around Arizona and Mexico.
You will have everything that you are looking for in a vacation retreat, and will yearn to return year after year.

I have not had to pay any "hotel" taxes to date. I will pay up to $60/mon for electricity. Tenant pays the amount over that, if the bill is more. Tenant can reimburse owner every month, or owner can take any amount owed for electricity over $60/mon from the Security/Damage Deposit. Pet deposits may be refundable.
Deposits and rents are made by check in USA dollars. Date of deposit depends on agreement, but will be written in the lease. So far, hotel taxes and fees have not been charged by the city.
If you rent for multiple months that end in April, the rent for April will be $1,500
Owner has homeowners insurance, but tenant may want to get their own renters policy.

Several casinos in area, community has live entertainment at times, community has frequent activites on-site or with bus tours. Occasional dances on site. Bridge games, lapidary shop, water exercise, additional workout equipment, showers, sauna, and spas in mens and womens restrooms/locker rooms near tennis courts and pool.

About the owner: Unless I approve otherwise, I only rent to people from North America.....but after we talk, there can be exceptions. Out of country communication is just too cumbersome for me, not to mention, expensive. I also like to get to know who is renting my home. Many renters have become friends, and I value that very highly.
