A-410 is a top flight premier unit at Maui's Haleakala Shotes in the beachfront town of Kihei. The unit is a top floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit that is newly remodeled and refurnished. November, 2008 was the first time the unit was opened to vacation rental. Local phone and internet service provided.

Haleakala Shores is located within 150 yards of Kamaole Beach III which is equipped with lifeguards, showers, barbecue grills and tables. An excellent snorkeling area is situated just off the beach. During the winter months, when the whales visit Maui, you can see them from the beach.

Haleakala Shores is located within a 25 minute drive from Kahalui Airport. Top flight restaurants are within walking distance of the condo. The world class Wailea Golf Course is within a 5 minutes drive.

Nine top flight golf courses are located within a 25 minute drive. Shopping is within walking distance and the luxurious Wailes Shopping Village is only a five minute drive. A cinema is also only minutes away.

The 1200 square ft., completely furnished top floor unit is bright and open with a vaulted ceiling. The unit was completely remodeled and refurnished within the last year.

About Dave Brady

My name is Dave Brady. I have owned Halakala Shores A-410 since 1985. In November, 2008 the unit was rented on a short erm basis for the first. Prior to that it was rented on a long term basis. The unit was remodeled in 2008. I have also owned a one bedroom unit in Kihei since 1989. I'm a recently retired educator and go to Maui whenever possible The Chicago area is my home.

I choose to buy Haleakala Shores A-410 because the quiet nature of the complex, the size of the unit, the high ceilings of the unit and the unit's location in Kihei to the beach, shopping and restaurants.

What makes this condo unique

When in Maui, I enjoy the quiet aspect of unit and Maui versus the hustle/busttle of Chicago. The freindly nature of the people of Maui is also very special.

Nice unit but kitchen in serious need of items

The unit is nicely updated with carpet, air conditioning units, free standing fans, TVs and great lanai furniture. There is plenty of various beach equipment. Being in the back of the building - it is quiet yet nice views of Haleakala and the beach from the lanai. Top floor units tend to be quite a bit hotter than the lower ones - but the overhang helps keep direct sun out. One BIG complaint is the kitchen. There is 1 frying pan that has all the teflon scrapped off. We actually sauteed some fish in the broiler pan. The silverware is so cheap and flimsy you could not stab a piece of beef with the forks. The plates were scant and none matching and the drinkware was seriously lacking. We ended up buying Solo Cups. There are plenty of nice wine glasses. The write up says it sleeps 6 - but there are not enough towels and dishware to support that many. Would not hesitate to rent this unit again IF the kitchen items are added.

Nice pool, for the 8:30pm dip. Great location some super snorkel locations less than 100 yards from the place. We'd stay again for sure.

Everything about this trip surpassed our expectations. The suite, the location, the beach.. eveything. I look forward to going back and if possible would likely try to lock in the same residence! Awesome, awesome, Awesome experience :)

The property grounds are well kept

Condo was fine, air conditioner needs to be replaced as it hiccups now and then. Pans could be replaced, overall we enjoyed our 2 weeks at the condo. The location is fantastic! Centrally located for all of our needs.
