The condo was nice and really close to the beach - lots of room and nice amenities.
The management company was a disappointment. Very hard to reach someone or have calls/email returned when I tried to reach them
In addition there was not a comforter or blanket for the pull out couch. I called three times to report. Two times I left a message and the third time I reach an actual person. I was told that a ticket was called in. I never heard from anyone the rest of the time we were there. Thankfully, we had a throw blanket that our teenager used.
Lastly - there is a really nasty neighbor who feels he has to monitor everyone that comes to Southwind. My kids were yelled at for sitting on our condo porch laughing and having a good time. He came across the street and started yelling at my kids to tone it down. It was literally laughing and at funny stories. As a parent, I had to step in and threaten to call the cops if he didn't go back over to his side of the condo unit. Then they were playing with a nerf football in the road temporarily while waiting on us to come down to the street to go out for the day. They were not close to any cars and the condo unit has barely any traffic so no danger was there. He started yelling again at my teens to get out of the road and take the football down to the tennis courts. Again, I had to tell him they were my children, my responsibility and leave us alone or I was calling the police for harassment. We were not the only family harassed by this neighbor it was a constant all week to hear him yell "Hey! Hey! Hey!" and we knew someone was being yelled at...children and adults.
Too bad that we had the other issues or we would definitely book again next May.
