This charming waterfront Plum Island cottage is in a small quiet neighborhood that is peaceful and family oriented. Unobstructed views of the Merrimack River at any time of the day with amazing sunsets. Easy stairway access to a semi-private beach. The semi-private beach is not our property. It is owned by our neighbors who graciously allow us to use it and we ask that you be respectful of this. There is a deck overlooking the beach and the Basin is only a few steps away at low tide. The location is perfect for fishing, kayaking, swimming and sunbathing. The home has a full kitchen, living area, dining area, with sleeping for up to 7 maximum (upstairs has a double bed and a futon and on the main floor there is a queen size bed, twin bed on front porch and two twins in one room). Blankets, linens and all towels are the sole responsibility of the tenant. Downtown Newburyport is just a 10 minute drive with many shops, galleries and restaurants and bars. No animals allowed.

We've rented a number of wonderful cottages on Plum Island- this is far and away now our favorite. Plenty of room for our family. Well equipped and very clean.Three outside decks to watch the sun come up or set....Beach is kid friendly.
Perfect for a young family. The beach is quiet with small waves. We had a perfect trip.

Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed. U.S. funds only. If Traveler pays through HomeAway, they are responsible for the service fee by credit card when paying through the secure HomeAway checkout process. The service fee is only charged to the card once the booking has been accepted by the property owner or manager. The service fee is, on average, approximately 6% of the rental amount, excluding refundable deposit or taxes. This fee is lower than other travel websites that charge a similar fee. Should Traveler pay by check mailed to the Owner, the service fee is waived. The service fee does not affect the ability of the owner to control their own rental rates and fees (e.g. pets, cleaning, or maintenance). The owner does not have the ability to discount or waive the service fee amount. However, if the reservation is not canceled and all payments fully refunded to the traveler, the service fee will not be refunded.
