Relaxing Atmosphere: This is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Enjoy views of the manicured front yard, Potomac River (winter) and the C&O Canal Towpath from the large deck. The hot tub is on the deck and is a truly awesome place to sit and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. It is really quiet and dark at night. Enjoy the porch swing or relax in the hammock!
Great Location: We are located at mile marker 77 on the C&O Canal Tow Path. The Potomac River is practically in the front yard. There is a public boat ramp close by. The Antietam Battlefield is within 3 miles of the house. Snyders Landing Road is a dead end, very little traffic. We are 5 minutes from Shepardstown West Virginia. Shephardstown is a quaint little college town with specialty shops and restaurants on the campus of Shephardstown College.
