A beautiful three-bedroom,3.5 bath 2286 sq. ft luxury vacation home located in a perfect location - a short distance between the La Quinta Resort & Club and the Dunes Golf Course/Clubhouse . Walk to the La Quinta Resort restaurants and world class spa,; swimming pools, tennis courts, golf course and clubhouse in a few short steps. There is a spectacular mountain view at the edge of the golf course and lake.

Open the french doors of the light-filled living room to a greenbelt and walking path that surround the rear patio. The walking path is at the edge of the most beautiful view of the golf course, lake and mountains in Santa Rosa Cove.

Casa Moderna is exceptional for entertaining and relaxation. The living room has unusually high ceilings and ample seating areas for guests. The dining room seats six comfortably and is on a raised platform of 5' maple floors. The decor is a blend of desert modern and traditional, both elegant and comfortable. If you love modern furniture designers, you will find Antonio Citerrio, Case study Day Bed, George Nelson Lamps, a Barcelona chair. If you love antiques, you'll find a beautiful Chinese Wall Panel and Bar, Oriental tables. The kitchen and entrance have koa floors. Maple lines the koa floor in the entrance. There is a Mitsubishi 65' HD TV with Blue Ray Player in the Living Room and a wet bar. There is a 40' Sony Bravia LCD HD TV with Panasonic DVD/DVR; a Samsung 52' LCD TV with DVD player in the other master bedroom. The home is substantially remodeled throughout .

The two master bedrooms have Eastern King Beds (the largest king). Many of the linens are Frette, Yves Delorme, Spalena - the finest & softest sheets

you can buy. One of the master bedrooms has a Case Study daybed that has a custom pillow-top mattress for comfortable sleeping that can be substituted for the day bed. The third bedroom is a casita ( a separate but attached unit). It has a queen bed, bamboo floors, is designer furnished with full kitchenette,flatscreen TV & DVD player, refrigerator, freezer & stove. There are a total of two possible twin beds in addition to two kings and one queen for your family or group needs.

The back patio is a great location for reading, entertaining or Bar-B-Q's. The front patio is private and great for sunning and Bar-B-Ques on the gas grill. The pool and Jacuzzi are steps off the back patio. . The kitchen is a cook's kitchen with an especially large array of spices.

The condo is a very short straight 3 blocks within the entrance to Santa Rosa Cove at Ave 50 & Eisenhower. This makes shopping a breeze and guests can easily find your location. The inner courtyard has banana trees, herbs and in winter, an array of tulips and other bulbs. This is a beautiful desert oasis designed with amenities especially for the comfort and pleasure of guests.

The Dining Room is elevated with maple floors . Across from the dining room is a mirrored wet bar.

There are two master bedrooms each with Eastern King beds; one has a walk-in closet and opens on to a view of the greenbelt and mountains.

Hello everyone,

I love renting my condo, which I've been doing since 2008. I'm Director of a non- profit org, producing media to benefit humanity, especially television. I grew up here in the desert,

attending Palm Springs high school, then obtained a B.A.

in Religious Studies from San Diego State University. I love

meeting my guests and helping them to have the best experience on their vacation.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2007

Why The Owner chose La Quinta

The condo itself is the largest floor plan here and has undergone extensive renovation. It's very comfortable, with

plenty of space and the detached casita is really like a studio apartment, giving lots of privacy. The location is ideal for a quick jaunt to La Quinta Resort within one block and the Dunes clubhouse, golf course and lake, literally seconds away. Lots of guests comment on the location, how they enjoy the quick walk to La Quinta Resort for coffee or breakfast, a wedding or business conference or just to play golf. A pool is also very close, as well as the entrance to Santa Rosa Cove.

Great spot

The home was perfect for what we needed. Diane had the place stocked with every utensil and gadget you could need for cooking. There was ample bed space and it easily slept 7. Our only (minor) complaint is the house gets a lot of light in the early morning, so bring eye shades if you want to sleep in.

We love the area and have been coming to Santa Rosa Cove for years.

This house is spacious and is great if you have kids, grandkids coming. However, it has a lot of deferred maintenance. For our four day, wedding hosting experience it was fine. For a longer, adult oriented stay it would not work as well. It is well-stocked with linens, tvs, beds, cleaning supplies, etc. As a VRBO owner myself, I would say the target market is groups of young people coming to town for concerts, tennis tournaments, etc. Diane was very easy to work with and responsive. Net net a good experience.

beautiful home, large rooms, very comfortable, great kitchen

the home is lovely, lots of comfort and space. the kitchen is beautifully designed and appointed, love the separate dining area, large living room. both bedrooms are spacious and very comfy beds! the separate "casita' is like a little apartment, great for a couple that wants a little privacy. we really enjoyed our stay. the pool and jacuzzi are well maintained and easy to walk to. i hope to stay here again! thanks Diane. :)

Going Back Again

Have stayed here several times. Nice bright condo in a good location in Santa Rosa Cove which is close to everything. Good electronics [tvs and internet] and the owner is very co-operative.

Watch out

We booked this in December for March so our families could spend some time together in the sun after the diagnosis of stage 4 colon CA. We changed by one day in February without a problem though it took a long time to get our refund(we had paid in full). 2 weeks before we are to leave I get an E mail that she double booked and we would have to look for someplace else. She also stated we should of got double booking insurance. She also would not give me my money back quickly as asked and stated she had 14 days to get it back. We are to go on vacation is less than 14 days!!. I have filed a formal complaint with VBRO as well.

Owner's Response: This is an unfortunate situation where a guest paid by check causing vrbo not to enter her reservation into the computer and I didn't catch it, a problem I accept full responsibility for not entering myself. However I was able to correct it for the guest within 2 days. I found a condo the same size, costing $200 more per night, with a view of the golf course (an upgraded view) and I was going to personally move a beautiful convertible sofa for her extra guests. So she would have had a far better condo than my place. 2 she told vrbo I never refunded her the one day. I presented evidence I had refunded within The contract and vrbo dropped the complaint. I am very sorry I made an error. I'm human. I rectified it so she came out better than before. That is the best possible outcome. It's too bad future guests will read this review and worry where there is no cause. I approached 2 condos and both would accept payment the day before arrival, so Michele should also have no problem. Strange she has not mentioned an actual problem encountered in finding a new place, just theoretical.

Condo is very well maintained my family had a great time... It's close to the resort if you want to walk over and get a drink or bite to eat.. Very relaxing nice quite spot can't wait to go back!! The owner Diane is very nice, and helpful!!!!
