Our condo is very adorable, clean and spacious. It is in an ideal location on the top floor which affords both privacy and quiet relaxation. The kitchen has all the amenities you would need if you decide to stay in and cook. The condo is ideal for those who are attending weddings. We are close to all the wedding events.
If you would like to go out, not only is Charleston minutes away, but you could take a quick drive to what is probably the best Southern BBQ restaurant around, 'Home Team BBQ.' It is a short drive to the eclectic Voodoo lounge or other local bars and restaurants such as Pearl's, Triangle, and Gene's Hoffbrau, to name a few. Up the street is a grocery store/CVS.
There's even a great local coffee shop that brews some wonderful coffee. There are a few very good antique stores where you can pick up some unique items without having to pay the downtown Charleston prices.
If you have kids, then there is a great skate park within five minutes of the entry, a dog park to mingle amongst, or they can enjoy one of the two pools.
You'll enjoy the refreshing colors and unique pieces of furniture when you come home to our condo. All appliances are like new and there is a washer and dryer in the condominium.
The master bedroom has it's own vanity and shower/tub and is separated by the living room from the other bedrooms. Come and enjoy.
Had a great, extended stay at this property! Unit is roomy, comfortable, well furnished and in the most convenient, pet-friendly location. Dog park, restaurants, bars, great hair salon all within walking distance. Pictures don't do the property justice! Condo is on the top floor of it's building so very quiet and serene with lovely view of trees out back. Would definitely recommend this property to others!
Doug was great to work with. The property swimming pools were fantastic and the location was perfect to downtown Charleston. Everything was clean and in working order. Thanks Doug for allowing us to stay in your home. (it doesn't look or feel like a rental unit)
Stayed at this listing early January. It was a great value - easy drive to downtown, lovely décor, well appointed - just a delightful, comfortable, very clean condo with all you need. Doug was a pleasure to deal with.
This condo is beautiful and was the PERFECT place for our family to stay in Charleston! We had 4 adults, a 2 year old, and a 7 month old. We had an absolute blast during our entire visit. We all kept saying how nice and homey the condo is and the location couldn’t be any better. It takes 10 minutes max to drive downtown. There are many grocery stores around. We loved nearby Earth Fare, a natural grocery store with a lot of great, healthy food selection.
Regarding the condo, there were so many things we were pleasantly surprised about that I didn’t see mentioned on the listing description. For example, there are 2 fans, and both our boys sleep with noisy fans in their rooms at home, so these were just a lifesaver! Also, the awesome porch swing on the deck was a wonderful place for everyone to hang out, drink coffee, etc. Another really fantastic thing is how quiet the unit is!! We literally heard nothing…no cars, no doors from nearby units closing, no neighbor doors closing and rattling, no people outside talking…nothing! This was nice considering our sleep was messed up from a long travel day from the West coast! We were supposed to arrive late Wed. night and didn’t arrive until about 3am on Thursday! Needless to say we slept late into Thursday and it was absolutely silent. Also, there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets.
There isn’t anything I would change and we would gladly stay here again if we’re ever back in Charleston.
We cooked several meals in the unit and did several loads of laundry. There was sufficient laundry detergent provided.
The only negative I heard anyone say while there was when we were cooking, which we did a lot. The pans are stainless steel and my mom mentioned food was sticking really bad even after using oil. It could be they’re getting worn out. And then when needing to clean the food that stuck to the pan, there wasn’t a metal spatula available to clean the pan, so it was hard to get 100% clean.

Family of 4 stayed here for 8 nights as a base for the Charleston leg of our holiday in US. The apartment is very comfortable and would certainly comfortably hold more than 4 people. There is a TV in each bedroom, which is not that common. The wifi was very good (2 teens on their gadgets plus us on laptop and no problems at all). The pool was fantastic (especially as it was very hot) and has some very interesting double sun beds/tents. It was very quiet and sitting outside on the rocker in the early mornings and evenings (it was very hot during the day) was great.
Location is not central Charleston but an easy drive to downtown- we found route 61/1 worked much better than route 17 though- takes you right into old town. Weekends one can park for free around French Quarter/ Battery which is otherwise residents parking. We loved Folly Beach and Island- the drive and walk to the lighthouse area was worth doing (lots of dolphins day we went), beach was great, etc. The Tanger Outlet Mall is up I526, the plantations are just up 61, etc- i.e. many of them main sites are an easy drive this side of Charleston- only a few are the other side (we did not do those- not enough time!). We did drive to Savannah for the say- quite doable and well worth it.
Owner leaves limited supplies of toilet paper/soaps etc, so especially is staying a while may need to bring or buy these.
This condo was located near downtown Charleston and also close to the outlying beaches. We were very pleased with the décor and cleanliness of this condo. We travel with our pets and this property is very dog friendly. There are plenty of grassy areas to walk your pet and a nearby dog park. In fact we found all of Charleston to be very pet friendly. Several of the plantations allow dogs and even let them ride the tram. We enjoyed many great restaurants in Charleston. The seafood can't be beat. The beaches are all pet friendly so your furry friend doesn't have to stay home.
Doug was very helpful and I would recommend this rental to anyone. We plan on a return trip in the fall.
Two lighted tennis courts on property, Within walking distance skate park, dog park, groceries, great BBQ, coffee bar, pubs and bars. Short drive to Isle of Palms, Kiawah and other beaches.
