We had a great stay at Isla Escape. Jacob welcomed us graciously, and it was great to have the welcome snacks. They lasted us the whole trip! The beach right out in front is beautiful and very secluded which is nice. Lots of great restaurants within driving distance. Nothing to complain about...I only wish we were back there right now.
We really enjoyed our stay at Isla Escape. We were greeted by Jacob and his two furry friends, Tina and Bozo who we kind of adopted that week. Jacob was very helpful in directing us to restaurants and sights to see. The casita is perfect for four people. We usually made breakfast there and then went out for dinner. We had chef Martin prepare a dinner for us one night and it was delicious! We loved sitting on the beach, reading and snorkeling and also walking down the beach to go to dinner. Isla Escape was very relaxing and we would love to go back. Highly recommended!
Charming, secure, comfortable and perfect for our family of 5.
We spent a relaxing week in this immaculate beach house. The kids played on the beach, we enjoyed using the canoes, we took many a relaxing 15 minutes walk down the beach to Akumal for meals. Right on the beach but safe & secure. The owner lives right next door, has the fridge stocked with a few essentials when you arrive and is available to ask any questions. You can’t do much better than this - Highly recommend!
Beautiful beachfront !
Wonderful stay at quiet, well furnished beach house. Jacob was extremely helpful with advice and took care of all of our needs. We were able to snorkel right off the beach and a quick walk down the beach to many great restaurants. Highly recommended!
Excellent in every way!
This is the gem we were looking for! Jacob, the owner, lives right next door and has built this adorable casita himself. It is beautiful and cleverly designed to create a comfortable space to relax and play. We are tired of the resorts and wanted some privacy and independence but have two young boys so needed to be safe. We enjoyed our home base with the gorgeous beach right out the back door but went on adventures every day! Having Jacob there to make recommendations was great and reassuring. My favorite adventure was going to the Coba Mayan ruins where we rented bikes and biked around the jungle, stopping to climb pyramids. Of course there are also endless gorgeous beaches and fantastic restaurants to explore, as well a fun things like going to the Monkey Sanctuary. The ziplines at Xplore were my 10 year old's favorite!
Beautiful holiday in every way- peaceful, close to great attractions, perfect location to either just relax or enjoy the wonderful amenities of the area. The house was perfect for our family of five and our children had such a great time. So glad we held off and did our family trip just before schools back in! Starting out the school year with wonderful family time will be such a strength in the coming year. Thanks Jacob for sharing your little bit of heaven!
