Verry nice view, kept clean, and I like the chess table and the games. The deer even came to visit when we arrived. The grill is wonderfull too, absolutely nothing wrong. Thank you for letting us stay.
I'm Christine's biggest fan, have rented this place several times per year for at least the last 5 years, have always been too busy to provide the review she deserves so here goes! This cabin is spotless, quiet, and has all the amenities. I've used it for a weekend with my family and for a weekend of fishing with the boys and it never disappoints. Christine is a very professional owner as well - you won't be disappointed with her cabin!
We had a great time in the cabin. It was a beautiful place. It was secluded. Our cell phones did not work at the cabin. We loved the peace and quiet. The fishing guide that was recommended was well worth it.
I stayed at the cabin for two nights August 19 and 20. Cabin was very nice, spacious and well maintained. I would highly recommend it for any tourist. Close to Elkton and easy to get to. Quiet and secluded. The weather was very hot when we were there and the ceiling fans that worked helped a lot. One of the fans didn't want to turn on, but we didn't need that bedroom. Cooled off well at night. I will definitely be back in the future.
The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and in condition. The location is nice and private as well. I would stay here again!
We stayed the last weekend of July and the cabin was clean and very comfortable. The Umpqua river was fabulous for swimming and fishing. We enjoyed our visit to the Elkton Butterfly Garden. The little Mexican place at the end of town had great pork carnitas. Be sure to grab pastries at the Pastry Mill. Great pinot noir wine tasting at Brandburg Tasting Room. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and we grilled a salmon on the grill.
Cabin was really nice and very clean! Set in the trees and mountains/hills. We were able to go to Reedsport for the day and Wildlife Safari another day with our three kids....wished we would have had time to also fish and explore the area more! The only downfall was neighbors down the hill had music playing every evening and were running equipment....I'm sure that's not an every weekend thing though. Owner also was very friendly and helpful! Loved that she made the extra time to make sure everything was going well and even sent a note after our stay.
