About Gloria Simmelkjaer

We are a very professional family who have owned and enjoyed this beautiful home for twenty years. My professional background has been in investments and money management after earning a MBA degree from the Stern School of Business, NYU.

I am a native Virginian who attended both college and graduate school in New York City. My husband, a native New Yorker, is a licensed attorney with a specialty in arbitration. We have two sons who attended top US universities and are also licensed attorneys.

This is a second home for us and we use it mostly in the summers. We love the property and have always invested time and resources to maintain it very well. We have always treated it as if it were are primary residence. Traditionally, it has been open for rentals only 4-6 weeks a year.

Gloria Simmelkjaer purchased this house in 1998
