About Diane Davis

This property is owned by 95430 Overseas Highway, LLC. My name is Diane Davis and I am an owner/member of this LLC. I handle the rental inquiries and property management. I am looking forward to hearing from you regarding our little slice of paradise....

Diane Davis purchased this house in 2002

Why Diane Davis chose Key Largo Area

It is a beautiful area that offers great diving, fishing and other fun activities and is easy to get to from Miami. We purchased the home in 2002 from the original owners who built it with loving care - from the beautiful wood interior walls, to the lovely long gravel driveway bordered by a natural hammock, which provides privacy and seclusion.

What makes this house unique

Fabulous sunset views of Florida Bay, great neighbors, private cove, privacy and the laid-back beauty of the Florida Keys... Feels like it's a million miles away from Miami, yet it's only an hour drive. It could be sitting on any tropical island in the Carribean, but it's in our back yard!

Fantastic week in a beautiful home!

  • 5 of 5

What a great time we had at this beautiful waterfront home! We just can't stop raving about how much fun we had... Great wine, stone crabs and fish, boat rides and kayaking and of course a short walk to 'Harriet's' for breakfast muffins! It was a perfect starting point for a day-trip to Key West, other tourist attractions, but most of all "CHILLING!"...

Thanks again for exceeding our expectations!

Beautiful Home in Key Largo

  • 4 of 5

Serenity by the Sea is a great choice for a stay in Key Largo. The home was fully stocked with swimming floats, life jackets, kayaks, basically anything you can think of for the water, and a jacuzzi! The dock is wonderful for fishing and docking a boat. The small private beach on the property is great for family fun in the sand and in the water. The shoreline does have some rocks, however, this is avoided the deeper you go in. There are numerous lawn chairs and a picnic table, which makes it easy for everyone to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view. The inside of the home is decorated following a beach cottage theme. It was very cute! The beds were comfortable and numerous. The kitchen in particular could use some renovations as the cabinets were hanging off the wall and didn't close very easily. Additionally, the fridge didn't get as cold as we expected it to be. Most of the things you would need in a kitchen are available to you, however, we were in need of more cutting boards throughout the trip and some of the cooking pans weren't of the best quality. My favorite part of the home was the large (floor to ceiling) windows flowing throughout the home. Every morning when we woke up there was a gorgeous view right there in the living room and kitchen. We could look right out to the sea while we ate breakfast in the kitchen. Overall, this home is a great choice for a large family that likes to have fun!

A Slice Of Paradise

  • 5 of 5

Cozy accommodations secluded by native foliage created a most comfortable and serene stay. The kitchen, dining, lounging, laundry, bedroom/loft areas and ground floor lockable storage room provided for smooth and easy living. The dockage for my 31 ft. outboard center console worked out great with plenty of water depth. Beautiful expansive view of Florida Bay with superb sunsets. You can expect a visit from the neighborhood manatee. You can rely on Diane's prompt correspondence. You will really enjoy Serenity by the Sea. I will be back. Just don't book it when I want to!!! :) . Thank you, Diane.

Awesome week at Serenity by the Sea!

  • 5 of 5

I have rented several homes in the Keys and this is my favorite! We had so much fun swimming, snorkeling, and fishing off the dock. We saw lots of blue crabs, sea snails, stingrays, starfish, small barracuda, and on our last night we had a visit from a manatee! We fished from the dock in the evenings until about midnight each night. The dock itself has lights, (no lights in the water) but you will want to bring a flashlight or two if you intend to fish at night. We put a chum bag in the water at the end of the dock and we were catching fish in no time. We caught grunts, small snappers, a small barracuda, and two sharks!! Catching the sharks was definitely the highlight of the trip! Diane stopped by on the day we arrived to deliver a tandem kayak which was an amazing surprise! We all took turns throughout the week paddling around in the bay. There are plenty of life vests in the storage shed under the house. There is also a nice canoe and a big hot tub, but I was having so much fun fishing and snorkeling that I never got around to trying those out. The house itself is cozy and comfortable and really feels like home, but the views of the bay and the sunsets are truly magnificent. You can look out the windows from the living room and see the entire bay, and watch the kids playing on the dock as the sun sets. I got some incredible pictures of the sun setting over the bay. We are a family of 7 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The boys slept in the loft (there are three twin beds and a pull out twin trundle) and the girls shared the queen bed down below. There is a steep set of stairs (almost a ladder) to get up to the loft, but it worked perfectly for our boys. There is also a master bedroom with a king sized bed, plenty of closet space and a desk area. The kitchen had everything we needed and the refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher seemed to be brand new. There was a gas grill that we used one night to grill hot dogs and hamburgers. The wifi worked great even outside the house, but our cell phones didn't get very good service. I loved the sense of seclusion at Serenity by the Sea! You can see the other houses when you are on the dock, but it was very quiet during our stay, except for July 4th - when the neighbors set off some great fireworks. Diane was a pleasure to work with and promptly returned my calls, emails, and texts anytime I had a question. Thank you Diane!

I was a first time renter of a home like this and I guess I just expected something more like hotel quality so I was very pleasantly surprised that it was like being at home. When we first pulled up my kids were so excited by the bay view off the dock, but then we went inside and it just got better and better. As if the house and the bay weren't enough, its located within a mile of great snorkeling, scuba diving, para-sailing, water skiing, jet skiing and any type restaurant you could want. The owners even give you help in picking places to use for everything. This house is great for families or just adults. I can't wait to go back.

Second stay here, was PERFECT again!

  • 5 of 5

After visiting for the first time last year and staying on this amazing property, we couldn't wait to come back this year to "our" place in the Keys! The location is perfect for everything we want to do (dining, fishing, jet skiing, snorkeling, floating in the bay with a frozen margarita in hand!), the house is plenty roomy for our family (what little time we actually spend inside of it), and it is the perfect spot to retreat to after a long day of exploring the islands. Just pulling into the long, winding, wooded driveway brings instant peace and relaxation! Diane, if you ever put this on the market, let me know.

The house itself is very comfortable and built for laid-back folks who want to feel like they're at home and not in some stuffy, pretentious rental where you're afraid you'll break something. If you want to spend a week (or two) in the Keys in a place that feels like your own, this is the house.

Key Lime muffins at Harriette's should be on your must-try list. We did the 26-mile jet ski tour this trip by A1A Watersports, I recommend! They're around mm82. The long snorkel tour out of Pennekamp is worth much more than it costs. The Buzzard's Roost was a new restaurant for us this year, highly recommend it, too. Of course, you can always catch your own meal off the end of the dock and grill out at the house, and there's a heron who will come sit by you while you fish.

We can't wait to come back!
