Overview

About the property

Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Loft, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4)

Need to get away? Check yourself into our Moose Cabin.

Then curl up with a good book in front of the window overlooking Shadow Mountain Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. In the summer, wander out to the deck to sip your coffee and search for the local wildlife that frequents the property.

Climb up the spiral staircase to the loft with a Queen size bed. It is a beautiful retreat at the top of the cabin with a bed worthy of sleeping late. The kids get their own space in the Clubhouse downstairs - complete with a bunkbed, Mr. Bear, games, and a glow-in-the-dark starry ceiling.

***This cabin was renovated in January 2009. We have added a gorgeous pine ceiling, new carpet, all new furniture, and many fun decorating touches. We believe the Moose Cabin to be a comfortable, relaxing retreat and base of operations for your explorations of Grand County.***

**We also own the Star Cabin #183295. Rent one or both cabins! They are on the same 1/2 acre, both private, but make a great place for two families to stay. OR consider our Grey Fox Condo in Granby Ranch #4352958. Ski, golf, fish, and mountain bike in this gorgeous valley and then relax in our well appointed condo. Ski-in/ski-out!

About Angie Zimmerer

We love the Grand Lake area and all of the outdoor activities it offers. We especially enjoy relaxing at the cabin when we are not going up to work! As lovely as the cabin is, we are always making improvements. We believe if we are comfortable there, our guests will be as well.

Angie Zimmerer purchased this cabin in 2006

Why Angie Zimmerer chose Grand Lake

Skiing, hiking, wildlife, views, fishing, boating, snowshoeing, and Rocky Mountain

National Park! We really love to get out of the city and kick back in the mountains. Plus, Grand Lake is a fun little town with an Old West atmosphere.

What makes this cabin unique

Easy access to town and area activities, but located in a quiet spot with views. Great for couples and small families. Kids love sleeping in The Bunkroom!

Guestbook comments from the owner

for our first time in Colorado! The view looks like a beautiful picture. It was a quick drive to our two planned hikes and the relaxing Hot Sulfur Springs. We will definitely be back!

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin has a direct view of the lake and shadow mountain. We fell in love! Sunrise, Sunset, and mid-day were all amazing views. Angie and Bob are such great people. We truly enjoyed working with them throughout this process.

I will absolutely be back and stay at the cabin again!

Nice little cabin close to town and RMNP

  • 4 of 5

Convenient location close to town and the park. Clean and comfortable with great views from the deck and living area. Would be perfect for a couple or family with smaller children. Little bit of road noise but not too bad.

RELAXING

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The cabin is cute and cozy. It provided about everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. My only suggestion is for a little larger tv. Thanks for letting us stay! God's blessings!!!

Beautiful view, very cozy

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay here. The cabin was super cozy, comfy, and cute. Also, the view from the porch of the lake and the mountains was just beautiful. We enjoyed having nice bonfires right outside. We very much loved the proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park, we got to do some amazing hiking!! Can't wait to go back!

Would definitely come again.

  • 5 of 5

We had a good time hiking around Monarch Lake and in the park, soaking at the hot springs, eating, and sitting on the deck. The weather was great It was particularly helpful to have your written restaurant and hiking suggestions. The location of the cabin was extremely convenient for what we did.

We tried to clean it well in hopes of getting a break on the cleaning fee and minimizing any issues if prospective buyers would be there the day we left. We wish you success in a prompt sale.

Thank you for all your guidance.
