Log home rental in Homer Alaska
Beautiful property with a fabulous view. Everything was as indicated in the advertisement. Connie was at property when we arrived and made sure everything was exactly as we were expecting. We were a group of 8 adult men. Everyone had their own bed and all beds were very comfortable. Will definitely try to stay there the next time we travel to Homer
This group of Fishermen was a delight! Always a joy to work with such grateful folks! I look forward to your return. Thank you for the tidy state of the home at your departure, I truly appreciate that gift of your time!
Wonderful house, but we did fill it!
Connie was excellent. She was extremely responsive (propane tank replacement) and even helped to coordinate some tourist activities. The Pros- a large house with 5 bedrooms, ample kitchen space, lovely living room, very quiet, and (if it wasn't raining) an excellent view. We felt secluded being unable to see nearby neighbors.
The Cons- we filled the house with 8 adults and 2 children for a week. To avoid cold showers they had to be staggered and when dishes etc. were not being done. The water system was insufficient for our size and usage. While the house sleeps 10, it does not quite host 10. The deck is also showing signs of aging and will likely need replacing soon.
That said I would choose it again for a group excursion.
You were excellent guests! Alaska has experienced record-breaking heat this season and the local wells have struggled to keep up with the demand. We have installed a backup water system to assist with this unusual situation. No worries for future water shortage! Come again, we enjoyed having you!
We all loved the beautiful house & property! The house is huge, plenty of room for all 8 of us to spread out. We enjoyed BBQing on the front porch enjoying the view of Homer Spit & Katchimak Bay, playing table tennis in game room, conversation in the living room, board games in dining room, and the kids loved playing on the buoy swings. Memories of a lifetime were made by everyone. Highly recommend!!!
Incredible location with incredible house
Amazing property and views. Perfect for our family vacation. Highly recommend.
Very nice home, spacious, and well equipped with everything we needed.
I recommend this home to anyone staying in Homer who wants a nice mountain view for large families. The view is fantastic and the kitchen is very well equipped. They have a neat tree house that my kids enjoyed.
Our goal is to make families and friends very comfortable in their base for their Alaskan Adventures! We focus on cleanliness and preparedness and hope we meet your expectation!
Stayed here for 4 relaxing days after a busy, week long cruise. The house is nestled up on a hill with wonderful views of the Homer Spit and the mountains beyond. The house was very clean, had lots of comfy furniture, beds, family board games and a well-stocked kitchen. Connie, the site manager was a joy to work with, very attentive to our needs/requests.
Thank you! It was a pleasure having your group! I hope you can return one day.
