This residence boasts stunning designer decor, four private luxury suites each with a private balcony overlooking the lake, a 60' great room, home theater, ipod docking stations in all suites, whole house speaker system for your music and entertainment pleasure.

The great room has two separate sitting areas, each with a large flat screen TV providing expanded DISHTV with HBO option. Indoor dining for 10 at the table

100 feet of waterfront large L-shaped dock to accommodate mooring of two boats and approximately 20' from the dock two buoys for additional moorage.

Carport for three vehicles on the third level where main entrance to home is (great room on main/lower level).

Not even CLOSE to luxury

Upon arriving we noticed dead pots at the entrance and around the driveway there were a few plastic bags blowing around the covered parking area. The walls are dirty and scuffed. The home needs an interior paint job. The carpets are not clean. The toilets are on their last flush. We had to lift the lids several times just to keep them functioning. Rust was running off both refrigerator doors in the kitchen. Yuck! There is obviously a rodent problem with traps set in the laundry room under the sink. The bag deck was not maintained well; broken pots, dead flowers in the pots, old toys left from previous guests, a bin on the dock filled with old beer bottles and garbage. We will not be back or recommend this home to others. For the price we paid, we expected a lot more. The pictures do not come close to a true representation of this home. Come on, Home Away, you can do better than this. Just because a home is large in square footage does not make it a luxury home. What a disappointment for the week.

Perfect House for Large Groups

Our stay in this house was great, I only wish it would have lasted a few more days and it would have been later in the year. As mentioned in other reviews, the four bedrooms with private bathrooms work great and give each group privacy. The kitchen and great room are well laid out and are very open. The outside decks were nice and there was a nice BBQ where we cooked up our fresh caught fish.

One item we learned the hard way is that parking isn't the best and there is no room for a boat trailer. We showed up with a boat and quickly realized that you can't even get it down to the house since it is down three switchbacks with tight turns. It would have been nice to know this in advance.

One item not related to the house is that the lake is very low in the spring and almost all docks in the lake are out of the water. We were still able to beach our boat, however.

I definitely recommend this house and I'm sure the minor items needing corrections will be addressed as the number of renters increase as the summer season begins. It has been a cold winter and I'm sure the owner will correct these items based on his and the property managers great communication. Just come with a plan for any trailers. We Willa's we plan on returning to this home in the future.

Amazing property with a great, communicative owner (and staff)!

Every year my wonderful girlfriend arranges an annual pilgrimage to Chelan for my birthday. We (a dozen friends) usually stay in multiple rooms at hotels and resorts near the south tip of the lake and we always had a blast. Little did we know on what we had been missing out on. We were inspired to rent a vacation home this year after having done so in Sonoma for a friend's wedding and having an amazing time. We thought Sonoma had forever spoiled us, but after having stayed at Bill's property this year, I can confidently say this was the best group vacation I've ever had!

The house has it all: VERY spacious and comfortable accommodations with bathrooms in every room, luxurious master suite, gorgeous views from every part of the home, large dock with shallow and deep ladders, a grill and a VERY thoughtful kitchen and dining layout with lots of redundancy (2x fridge, oven, dishwasher, washer, dryer)--perfect for us since we cooked almost all of our meals. The pictures do not do the home justice.

I had the chance to meet both property manager and owner--they were very courteous and helpful. Future guests will be happy to know that their trip experience is in very good hands! The issues listed in older reviews have been resolved, and improvements seem to be happening regularly (Bill came to drop off a brand new set of kitchen supplies!).

Looking forward to next year :D

Owner and Agent were very helpful

Eight of us stayed at the rental property in mid-March, 2013. The property is much better than what some old reviews say. I guess the owner fixed problems. Views from all the bedrooms were great. Every room had its own bath as other review said and the bed in each room was very comfortable and clean. The house is three stories with steep stairs. It might be a bit difficult for people with physical limitation to access.

Some window shades did not work and we could not roll them up. I bet people need to wear sun glasses inside the house in the summer if the shades weren’t there since the house is facing west. It was a bit cold at night in March. The fireplace did not work but I was told that the owner would fix it soon. I could not tell if the heated floor was working. We turned on two space heaters in the living room but noticed that they kept triggering the circuit breakers since power outlets on the wall facing the lake had only 10 amp max. We moved them inside walls and they worked fine. It took me awhile to find the breaker box since it was hidden behind the canvas near the entrance.

The wireless router did not work when we arrived. I called the owner. He was very prompt and attempted to solve the problem immediately. He could not locate the repairman quickly and allowed me to buy a router at a local store. I replaced it. The house is too big to be covered with one WIFI router. You would see very weak or no signal in the third floor bedroom. The owner was nice. He reimbursed me the expense and added additional $ for fixing the problem. When I made the reservation, I had to resolve some questions. The rental agent was very helpful and worked with the owner to resolve them.

I was told that the owner was preparing a folder with information about the house and vicinity. We did enjoyed cool but sunny days in March. I would definitely recommend staying at this house. The owner and the agent seem to be good hearted people.

We will be returning!

Just took 15 people out to this place last weekend and had a BLAST. The location was perfect (a little far away from downtown Chelan, approx 20 minutes) but only 7-10 minutes form the nearest grocery store/any needy amenities in Manson. Everyone was amazed at how beautiful the home was and the view is breathtaking - especially in the morning from the master suite!

This place was also built to entertain. There are 2 dishwashers, 2 washers, 2 dryers so no need to wait for cleanliness. Every room had it's own full bathroom, so no waiting for showers- and all of them were beautiful. The kitchen island is gigantic, with plenty of counter space + plenty of seating in the living rooms (one night we fit 17 people around the dining table!). Modern amenities in all rooms. Brand new grill was delivered the first day we were there. Comfortable beds, great water pressure in all bathrooms, and great outdoor space to lounge.

Only thing that was a bit tricky was getting the music to play through more speakers than just the living room. Some music outside during dinner would have been perfect!

Perfect for a weekend away with a lot of people and we will for sure be returning next year.
