I am now a full-time resident of Palm Springs. I love everything about this sunny and quiet community with so many great things to do. I bike, scuba, walk, and love to visit the great nearby dog park. I have discovered the beauty and mystique of horse ownership in my senior years and have come to love everything the desert has to provide especially the ease with which one can get to one end of the Valley to the other. Having lived my entire life in Los Angeles and been part of a car-dependent generation of Californians, I so appreciate not having to get into my car everyday and when I do, how quickly and easily I can get where I need to go. I love the desert, the sunshine, and the village feel of the Coachella Valley and Palm Springs, in particular. It's both nature and the city and California.
Mona Loo purchased this condo in 2007
I chose my condo's location for its quiet, yet central location to many sights. In the evening, it is so quiet you can hear the coyotes howling, not so far away as they live in nearby washes and are often seen in the city. Blue skies, sunshine and clean air are the standard for most of the year.
I love the well-kept grounds with my own sweet fruit bearing trees, grapefruit, Meyer lemons, and oranges and the serenity of a great view of the majestic San Jacinto mountains from my living room and private patio.
Mona (the owner) is very friendly and readily available if you have any questions. The unit was clean and well stocked including small appliances a great outside BBQ.
Great attached house for a Palm Springs getaway. Nicely kept up with a beautiful orange, lemon, and grapefruit tree outside. Includes everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Includes an 'outdoor room' where you can be indoors yet outside for, I'm sure, those hot Summer days where you don't want the direct sun.
The community pool and hot tub was close but not too close so you'd have people walking by. In fact, there was hardly anyone around and often you'd have the place to yourself. The pool/tub/grounds were well maintained.
Well located, about 5 min drive from the airport and also about 5 min to the downtown strip. But, you can walk to grocery stores from here as well.
Very nice neighbours. All in all a very enjoyable and pleasant experience. I would go again and have already recommended it.
It is difficult to find a nice, pet-friendly place, but this was ideal. Lots of amenities; plenty of space. We would re-book for next year if it were not already booked. Thanks, Mona! If anything opens up for 2013, please let us know. Excellent and friendly "condo community" meant lots of new friends. The pool was exceptional and the view spectacular.
We have rented last year for 3 months and this year for 2. Very pretty , quiet surroundings , with a lovely heated pool in close proximity. The condo is very roomy and bright with sunlight which is a real plus. The patio area lends itself for having guests over to entertain. The kitchen area is spacious along with the dining area. We have enjoyed our rental time here and met some very nice neighbours who make you feel welcome. A very enjoyable holiday for us. The owner also is very accomodating and easy to deal with.
My family and I had a lovely vacation at this condo. The owner was very nice to work with and went the extra-mile to provide a few additional items for my children so that I didn't need to pack them. It was very much appreciated. The condo was clean and had all the amenities needed. It is the perfect distance to the pool (not too close but close enough to see it) and there is a very nice green space off the patio for the children to play in the grass. The condo is also walking distance to grocery stores, golfing, and other shopping. I would highly recommend this condo.
A group of friends gathered here for the PS Film Festival... and it was perfect for six of us! The views are spectacular, each morning waking to see the sun on the San Jacinto mountains. Outside, the grounds are meticulous (including fresh lemons and oranges right off the trees) and, inside, this condo is very comfortable, spacious and welcoming. We used the pool and jacuzzi, which was nearby - great temperatures. We are hikers, so downtown was a short walk for us (2 miles, I think). And a number of good restaurants, Camelot theatres and shops are nearby. The owner was extremely helpful, flexible and responsive. We would stay here again without hesitation!
The Cochella Valley, of which Palm Springs is the historical and spiritual hub, is abundant with the natural and historical beauty of the Native American desert oases and the geological phenomenon of the San Andreas fault. Human creativity abounds here with so much to do, in so many nearby and easy to attend cultural, musical, art, wine and food festivals, shopping and entertainment venues, both indoor and outdoor activities, it will be impossible to do it all. And when you have had your fill of fun and cultural enrichment, enjoy the soothing peace and solitude of the desert at dawn or dusk by resting quietly, letting the San Jacinto mountains be for a time, the keeper of your weary soul.
