Tinte Red Mountain Retreat: Wine Country home nestled in the vineyards

Nestled among the vineyards of Tinte Cellars, the Red Mountain Retreat provides a truly unique opportunity to stay in the heart of Red Mountain and experience all it has to offer. Located in one of the most renowned wine growing regions in the world, the Retreat provides guests with a spacious and comfortable way to experience a truly memorable wine region.

There are 4 generously sized bedrooms: two king bedrooms with attached ensuite bathrooms, and two queen bedrooms. Each bedroom has ample closet space. Unlike many homes in the area, the Retreat has 3 separate bathrooms: one full bathroom with shower, soaking tub, toilet and double sink attached to the master king bedroom; one 3/4 bathroom with shower, sink and toilet attached to the junior master king bedroom; and one centrally located 3/4 bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet located off the hall, shared by the two queen bedrooms. The Retreat accommodates a maximum of 8 individuals of any age.

Pause to take in expansive views of Red Mountain, Horse Heaven Hills and the Yakima Valley. Enjoy wine tasting at the many wonderful wineries within a few miles of the house. You can even bring your bikes (bike rack provided) and venture out to the many wineries on two wheels. Prepare dinner in the fully appointed kitchen and share great food, wine and company with fantastic views from both inside and out. The back patio is equipped with a large outdoor dining space and bbq grill, and the front patio features Adirondack seating, all with views of the vineyards.

This house is in a perfect location to so many wineries (besides living in the middle of a vineyard!). Kitchen was perfectly stocked with anything you might need. Beds are comfy and having 3 full bathrooms (2 of them being on suite) worked perfectly. Would definitely stay again!

This home is situated amongst the grape vines, and is literally a 5 minute stroll to Upchurch winery. There is a large outdoor table in the back for meals surrounded by vines. Its peaceful, the sunsets are huge, and the lights of Benton City is the nightly backdrop. This house comfortably accommodated 4 couples. Everything we needed was provided. It is a very convenient location to all of the Red Mountain wineries. Also a short drive from Prosser wineries. And only 1.5 hours from Walla Walla. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back again.

Heavenly Vineyard Setting Great for Multiple Couples

"Retreat" is the right descriptor for this place with a fabulous setting, beautiful sunset view, and lots of indoor and outdoor space for four couples to sleep, dine, picnic and socialize. Just as impressive as the setting was the amazingly well-stocked kitchen. From a huge selection of beautiful serving platters and wine glasses, to every size of cookware, a coordinated collection of spices, and more plates and cups than you'll ever need -- this is the best cook's kitchen we've ever seen in a vacation rental. Everyone in the group also commented on how many fresh white towels that were available. The house was very clean and looked even better than in the photos. Thank you, Tinte, for the wonderful stay!

Our group has a great stay at the Tinte Mountain Retreat. Check in was easy, and the host was very responsive to a couple of minor issues after arrival. The house was clean and comfortable, and has great views of the valley and vineyards. It's a short, pleasant walk to several nearby wineries. We're looking forward to coming back again!

Stunning getaway with friends

The Tinte retreat was absolutely gorgeous on arrival! It was a beautiful backdrop for a long awaited wine trip with some of my closest friends. The house was perfect for our needs. There was plenty of space and all of the amenities required for us! The place was also well stocked! They also included a cute little gift for staying there which I will treasure as a sweet memory. If we come back to tri cities again we will likely book it here! 10/10 recommend!

Perfectly Nestled in Vineyard

This home was a perfect find for the setting we were looking to achieve. Few friends, good wine, games, and nice home setting. We used the home as a launching point for some wine tastings. Host was very responsive to an issue at the home (bed that had an issue). I plan to bring a group of family members back to the area and I hope this home is available!!

Tinte Cellars is a family-owned winery that unites our passion for Washington wine with a commitment to strengthening the communities that make it. With every glass pour and bottle purchase, Tinte Cellars donates a percentage of sales to charitable causes. Additionally, the winery supports nonprofits through volunteerism, collection drives and in-kind donations. In their first five years of operation, Tinte Cellars has donated nearly $1M to area charities.

Tinte Cellars produces 3,500 cases of award-winning Washington wine annually and has 3 tasting rooms in Washington state: two tasting rooms located near its winery in Woodinville, and a third tasting room in Seattle's historic Georgetown neighborhood. Currently, there is currently no tasting room on Red Mountain.

Owners Tim Gamble and Teresa Spellman Gamble are lifelong Washington residents and are proud to own two special Red Mountain vineyards and the Retreat home. The vineyard where the Retreat home is situated is a young but established European-inspired vineyard of just under 5 acres that produces 15-20 tons of quality fruit each year: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, and Mourvedre have been harvested from this vineyard, and new varietal grafting is currently taking place. The second Tinte Cellars vineyard is located in the heart of Red Mountain (former E&E Shaw Vineyards), directly east of Ciel du Cheval. That vineyard is planted with just over 12 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc.
