Close to Everything...But Away from It All

Wake each morning to the extraordinary views you’ll only find on Florida’s Emerald Coast. The turquoise waters of the Gulf. Rolling sugar-white sand dunes. Reflections of the pines on a small coastal lake. It’s hard not to have an extraordinary day when this what you see as you raise the bedroom shades each morning at Mar-A-Lago.

This spacious 3-bedroom 3 1/2-bath home is located in a small private cluster of homes on the far eastern edge of Seagrove Beach. Nestled right up against Deer Lake State Park, it’s a hidden paradise at the end of an Old Florida style gravel road. One of South Walton’s least crowded and easiest-access (no stairs) beaches is just over 1/3 of a mile away.

The home’s two master suites make this vacation rental ideal for multiple families. The first floor master features a wet bar and mini-fridge, and the development’s community pool is just a few steps from the screened-in porch. The second story consists of the common living spaces, including a well-stocked kitchen that makes it feel much more like home. And on the 3rd level, you'll find the other two spacious bedrooms: the upper master suite with its enviable views, and the bunk/kids room, which also has the convenience of its own bath.

The peaceful, park-like setting and natural views might make you feel as though you're far from civilization, but everything else the Emerald Coast has to offer is equally close at hand: the 18-miles of bike trails along scenic 30-A; the great shops, galleries and restaurants of Seaside and Rosemary Beach; fishing on Eastern Lake; family entertainment at Pier Park in Panama City; and world-class golf courses.

With so much to do outdoors it’s hard to imagine you’ll spend much time inside -- but when you do, you’ll find all the comforts of home: HDTVs, including a 55" Smart HDTV in the Living Room; fast WiFi; a closet full of games in the kids room to keep them happy on rainy days; and a spacious living room/dining room area with plenty of room for everyone to hang out. For a small extra fee, we'll be happy to allow you to bring your well-behaved dog on the trip as well.

Additionally, we've recently updated the home to keep it in great condition - including refinished hardwood floors, fresh paint throughout, new carpets, new kitchen counters and more.

We had such a wonderful stay at Mary and Rob’s place!

The owners are wonderful people and the property is lovely! They were easy to communicate with and always good about anything we needed! We enjoyed the open concept of the beach house! It’s open and decorated nicely and bright! The golf cart was so fun for getting to the beach access just a few minutes away. We will definitely look to rent this property again! Thank you for sharing your wonderful beach home!

Great home for a family vacation!

We had a great time at this home and we were fortunate to have found this place. Some of the things we loved:

- Golf cart: my daughters (7, 6, and 5 years old) may have thought this was the highlight of the trip had they not had so much fun at the beach. Honestly it was truly handy to have this to get to/from the beach and carry all our stuff.

- Home feel: The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. In addition, the internet and cable TV work great and there were lots of board games to play with the group.

- Location: we prefer the quieter location without all the busyness of a Rosemary beach and this was definitely that. Given the location, you'll have an easier time than many beaches to have your own space when you're by the water.

- Homeowners: hugely helpful throughout the entire stay. My wife lost her wedding ring and the cleaning crew turned it in. Sincerely appreciate the honesty and getting that back given the significance. They are also generous with their stuff: bikes, lawn chairs, golf cart, games, etc.

- Two master suites: we stayed with another family and with the suites split on different floors it really made the home feel big and provide some privacy.

Great Stay on 30a!

Highly recommend this property. It is even more roomy then the pictures reflect. Very tastefully decorated and the kitchen has anything you could possibly use in. Location is basically between Seaside and Rosemary beach and you can walk to Deer Lake from the beach. The screened in porch and the two balconies on the 2nd and third floors were very convenient to feel the Gulf breeze, breath in the salt air and sip on a glass of wine in the evenings. The golf cart makes the beach seam "right there". Would rent this again without hesitation. My wife and kids (22 & 21) loved it!

Very nice

I highly recommend this property. We came here for a family spring break with our four children. It is very convenient to one of the nicest beach locations in 30a. The beach adjoins a state park, so it was very uncrowdes even during spring break. The golf cart was perfect for transport back and forth. My kids absolutely loved riding on it.

The condo itself is beautifully appointed. The fact that we could bring our two dogs was a huge selling point for us.

The beds were comfortable.

The use of the three bikes was fun for exploring.

Mary was great to work with is and even mailed back some of the makeup my wife left at the condo.

Overall a five star experience!
