Year Purchased: 1980
About the owner: I am retired from Emory University but still keep busy with a second career involving consulting and volunteer work. We like to travel especially to Italy where we have a son, daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren. We also have 6 grandchildren in the states who like to visit the lake.
Why the Owner Chose Tiger, GA, USA:
I discovered this lake in 1975 and was impressed with the clear water, pristine setting, isolation (at that time) and views of the mountains.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This is our respite from the city. We swim, hike, read and occasionally venture out to galleries/shopping. We also entertain family and friends for long weekends. Our children and grandchildren love to come and fish, swim, boat and hike.
