What makes this Condo unique
Walking distance to Marina, Bentwood and Amtrak. We often park the car when we arrive and don't start the engine again until we need to head back to Chicago. So relaxing, a world apart from city stresses. Downtown New Buffalo has so much to offer walking distance from your Lake Michigan Getaway. Like grab coffee at Joe's in the Marian Grand in the morning and head up to the Resort's roof top to enjoy the view of the marina. Or schedule a wine tasting at Warner Wines. A very nice condo, well furnished and decorated nicely in New Buffalo.
We were pleased with our stay here. The condo had a great beach decor and was so clean and comfortable. We rode our bikes to the beach most days as it resides on the outskirts of the village. The owners made sure we were able to get into the condo and were in touch with any questions.
When we first pulled in to the area, we were a little learey because of the property across the street, but once we started exploring other parts of the area, we felt much better. The condo itself is beautiful, the pics don't do it justice. Ann was very helpful, and everyone we talked to was very friendly.
The first day we did the whole beach experience, and the second we did the park and the sand dunes. There's so much there to enjoy!!!! Would highly recommend!!
Very clean and good location
We enjoyed our stay here! Minutes from the beach and the pool was nice. Condo was clean and perfect for us.
The condo was everything we hoped.
We had a great vacation in New Buaffalo. The condo was easily accessible to the things we enjoyed. It was comfortable and very inviting.
The Condo was clean, great location and was perfect for our group of 5. The kitchen was well stocked. Ann was very helpful and attentive. She was quick in her responses and was available via phone when we arrived in case we ran into any difficulty. Thanks so much for letting us stay, we will definitely come back!
From start to finish this was a great vacation. Ann contacted me immediately after confirming the reservation and provided me with useful information about the area. She then kept constant contact with me to ensure I had all the information I needed to make this a great vacation. Once we arrived, we discovered it was everything thing pictures showed and more. This was a perfect place for me and my kids! The townhouse is immaculate and very comfy. And location is perfect! Very convenient to everything one would need. I would definitely go back and my kids have already said they want to go back. Thanks again Ann!
The walk to the beach is so charming that most just don't mind... through the marina (4 blocks) over the boat bridge another (4 blocks) at that point you see the lake in front of you although you have a few more blocks to walk. But, there is ample parking at the beach for $10 dollars a day. A lot of people choose add just a little time and/or distance to the trip and grab a bite at Nancy's (Whittaker and Mechanic). They have awesome fresh strawberry shakes and/or pick up picnic goods at Barney's (where everyone LOVES their fried chicken). The public beach allows coolers on the beach but, no glass please. When we first came to the area, we made it a point to catch the sunset every evening. They are spectacular like the Gulf side of Florida. It is a very basic harbor town, the town people are very friendly. Plan to slow your pace. The area has a lot of its own produce, the closest fruit market is across the parking lot - tell John we say hello. If you plan to 'pick your own', strawberry season ends around memorial day, blueberry is around 4th of July or apple picking in the fall. There is also a farmers market up Red Arrow Highway at Skip's Other Place with local produce every Saturday and Sunday. Walking distance to fine dining at Bentwood Tavern, The Terrace Room and Pierre Anne's Creperie. Walking distance to family dining at Stray Dog, Casey's Backyard, Michigan Thyme, Rios, Grateful Diner and Rosie's.
