Spacious Home on the Applegate River, Minutes from Applegate Lake. Come and enjoy this beautiful 2,200 sqft home located on the Applegate River in the Rogue River–Siskiyou National Forest. Downstairs has wall-to-wall windows with views of the river. Enjoy the fireplace made from river rock and a cozy bay window for reading, chatting, and relaxing. Step out onto the expansive riverside deck that runs the length of the home for a glass of wine after an active day enjoying the Applegate Valley.

You can fall asleep to the sound of the river in both bedrooms. The Riverside Room is an enormous bedroom that overlooks the river, and includes a balcony where you can enjoy the river and the natural surroundings. This bedroom has a king bed and a trundle with two twin beds, all of which have comfortable memory foam mattresses. The large second bedroom, The Oakview Room, has a queen bed with a downstream view of the river through the oaks.
Upstairs you will also find the unique gallery space that can be used as a place to work on a jigsaw puzzle or play a game. The upstairs bathroom includes a claw footed tub, and there is a newly renovated full bathroom downstairs as well. You can explore the paths on the 1.5 acre woodland property where you’ll find vintage farming equipment tucked here and there.
The house is located in the Applegate Valley, home to many first-rate wineries. The beautiful Applegate Lake is five-minutes away by car. It’s a thirty-minute drive to Jacksonville, a quaint historical mining town, which has boutiques and an excellent variety of restaurants. You’ll also find the Britt festival in Jacksonville.
Applegate Lake is three miles away and is well stocked with trout and bass. The Lake offers boat launching, kayak rentals, day-use picnicking, swimming, hiking trails, and more. This area is also well-known for its wine. Nearby you'll find 19 wineries that are part of the Applegate Valley wine country.

You can enjoy peace and quiet except for the lull of the river. It's about 15 minutes to Ruch where there is a market and a couple of restaurants, then another 10 minutes to Jacksonville where there are endless things to do.
