I traveled for business to Palm Springs from Newport Beach area and thought why not buy a house here.. The home as history I bought from a son of a famous actor... It needed a big up lift and lot of TLC the project took 5 yrs .. Big Remodeled started 2002-2007 adding on a big kitchen, adding a bathroom with a steam room... it is just perfect now ...looks like new..Maintenance continues to keep the house looking like new... Love the area of Palm Springs close to all shops and downtown . Love being a homeowner and keeping up with the house on maintaining keeps me busy .. Pool was redone June 2014 with new lighting in the pool and around the Landscaping area..The property is so private you feel like you are a million miles away from everyone... Home is equip with an alarm system newly put in March 2016..

When you close the doors behind you it is very quite and private. Enjoy the back yard with the mountain view while you read or bath in the sun... 2 fruit trees in yard, fruit during Feb & Mar for Oranges and Lemons a little later in the year... Our home is close to food markets, a Gym and down town is 2 mins from home. Not far to the 10 fwy... Airport 8mins away. Very Central

perfect landing for palm springs
first off, let's just talk about the kitchen....where we spent most of our time while we were there.
location was perfect for our needs. close to fun shops rooms were spacious and showers rocked, esp the steam shower. a restful place while spending time partying in palm springs.
pool ideal and quiet serenity...and Joann the owner so easy to work with. caretaker, as well..yes, the boys will be back...

Great home, well stocked!
I stayed at the house for a week with some girl friends for a reunion. We found the house comfortable, clean and extremly well stocked. Joanne was available for questions all week as well. This is a great home!

A truely remarkable home for your Palm Springs and surrounding area visit. The owner, Joann could not have been any more helpful in ANYTHING we needed. Matt and Karin, who manage the property in Joann"s absence, are tremendous people to work with and will help you in any area possible. They are great people. It was never a problem to call them anytime to ask for advice or suggestions. The home is absolutely stocked from top to bottom with anything you might need while vacationing. It is centrally located and the mountain views are breath taking. The pool is very relaxing with many lounge chairs and tables for that special grill out. The gas grill was always full and ready for immediate use. loaded with all grilling utensils. I would highly recommend this well kept home to anyone seeking a clean and equipted home. It was truely magnificent. Thanks Joann, Matt and Karin for all your help during our stay. You all were a great asset to us. Our family reunion was a total sucess. We can't thank you enough. I would certainly consider renting this home again on our next visit to Palm Springs. What a great find for us !!!!!!!!
Casa del Sol was just exactly what we needed for comfort, rest, relaxation, sun and swimming! The owner was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. To say the house is well-stocked is an understatement, as there is a vast array of food and cooking staples in the kitchen, as well as personal necessities in each bathroom. The steam shower is amazing! Beds were very comfortable and the linens were all first-rate. The pool was clean, well-heated, and a joy to use each day. The desert landscaping is perfect for the locale and the snow-capped mountains in the distance add a finishing touch to the floor-to-ceiling views from living room and bedroom. Complete privacy in the backyard; all you see of the (quiet) neighbors is their tiled rooftops. Only 7 minutes to the airport or downtown Palm Springs…we’ll be back!
