Beautiful cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at The Buckberry. The cabin was beautiful and spacious. We had an issue with some leaking from the top floor bathroom but they came out within 30-45 minutes and fixed the problem. The main floor tv broke in the beginning of our stay but they replaced it promptly. The quick manner in which those issues were handled really impressed us and we would definetly use Twin Cedar Cabins again! Our only complaints were the lack of a bathtub and though both king beds were beautiful the mattresses could use an update as they were not the most comfortable. We loved the Christmas decorations and the cabin was set up beautifully. Thanks for a great stay!

The Buckberry

First off this is a beautiful cabin BUT I have to say we were totally blind sited on how high this cabin really was ( so the beauty for me is out the window). We really did not know how high it was until we got there OMG !!!! Im giving you heads up right now. If you dont like hanging off a cliff dont stay here.We stayed there for 5 days ( late checking in on the first day).We took a wrong turn and OMG I was scared to death !!! Literally it was so bad for me and my family. Now I dont want to scare anybody but I am telling you what I experienced..The stairs were too steep for us ( inside the cabin) I did get a work out.WOW !!! We brought our dog Scooby but I have to tell you not really a spot to go potty much but I did not want to walk down the steep roads either.I The was clean we when we arrived. For the days we stayed, thank goodness for a washer and dryer. The foliage was beautiful, but the height of the cabin was so high I could not go on the balcony, any of them.Nice detail and decor. We enjoyed the Gatlinburg activities and surrounding areas,( when I had the only time guts to go down the mountain)the Christmas lights lit up downtown was amazing, not very cold yet but that was ok.I was glad they had cable we watched Hallmark Christmas movies for days.Overall I really wished I could get a rebate or at least part of our money back..For most of my family were too scared to go up and down the mountain being way too steep. The beds in the downstairs level were so uncomfortable for the children as the bars stuck in their backs all night. So they slept without opening up the couch which was better.I hate to be the complaing party pooper but I will not lie how my vacation went.I DID NOT enjoy it at all,by the time we got home were were sore from the stairs and the height of the cabin,we even checked out early. We respected all rules and cleaned the dishes, swept, and took all trash out (probably more than usual) and did all the laundry from the towels we used ,But we didnt want the cleaners to have to do much.Sorry to say I wont rent this cabin again, thank you.

Would rent this cabin again, only complaint is beds are a little hard. Over all, the cabin is beautiful and very spacious with three floors. Everything you could want in a cabin!

This cabin is beautiful. Very clean and spacious! The owners are amazing to work with. I highly reccomend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice, clean place to stay!! It sleeps 4 adults and 4 kids easily and it is big enough that you arent bumping in each other. My fur baby even loves it here!
