It was great
I loved the stay. The place was great! The only issue is someone set the alarm clocks for 12 midnight, which woke us up in the middle of the night. The took several hours to put my two year old daughter back to bed, so it kinda put a damper on the first day. Otherwise it was a great place.
Great location with access to the mountain
Overall the location and property are quite nice and I would stay here again. I am giving it 5 stars because both bedrooms had king size beds - we were two couples staying in the unit. I would give 4 stars to the living area - there is one couch to lounge on and the unit could sleep up to 6 people. The living space accounts for 3? I would recommend a non chaise sofa against the wall and the addition of two small chairs by the sliding door to make it a functional space. I’d also recommend new knives for the kitchen. :-)
Perfect cozy condo!!
We stayed over Spring Break week with our two teenage sons. The condo couldn’t have been more cozy!! Perfect for a group/family of four....not sure six would be quite as comfortable. There were plenty of towels and paper goods, we did not need to purchase more. The kitchen is very well equipped, made eating breakfast and lunches in easy! There was even a crockpot, had I known I might have done more creative cooking for lunches. The in-condo washer and dryer were perfect for a mid-week load of wash and for drying out gloves and ski wear. The convenience to the Independence Chair at Peak 7 made it all so easy! We didn’t use many of the other amenities, though my boys did sit in the hot tub outside a few evenings. The condo was surprisingly quiet for such a busy week, and beds were very comfortable, so everyone slept well. Parking underneath the building was convenient, with the elevator to our unit just a short walk away. Can’t think of anything negative at all!! Would love to return. Few helpful hints to others staying: 1) Bring slippers for wearing down and back to the ski lockers each day 2). Bring an HDMI cord if you want to watch movies from your computer. 3). Buy your lift tickets online ahead of time to get the discount. 4). Pack some small containers of your favorite spices. There was salt and pepper but that’s all. 5). The coffee pot is a traditional drip unit. So cone type filters and ground coffee needed. 6). Have a great time!!!
Perfect Ski in & ski out!
Absolutely perfect! Condo is easy to access! Staff helpful! Was so great to come off the slope to come into the condo to grab something we forgot , get a drink, or take a rest! Loved the heated garage to be able to go to the car comfortablely! We will be coming back with our kids!
Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the condo. Nothing overly bad but when paying high rate per night we expected much better.
Pros: Great location right at 7 and near gondola to 8. Kitchen pots and pans well stocked and new. Clean. Access to One Ski Hill amenities. Undercover convenient parking.
Cons: Kitchen not stocked with any basics such as oil, butter, cling wrap, condiments, herbs. Not enough toilet paper and tissues - we had to buy ourselves. We had to clean up, take sheets off bed, take rubbish out ... might sound petty but at the price we paid... !!! Ski locker small for 6 people. Condo also a bit small for 6 people.
Thanks for staying with us and thanks for posting your review. Unfortunately, providing oil, butter, condiments, etc. is a no-win situation. When we have provided these items in the past, people complain about them because they "appeared old" or they thought our cleaners had forgotten to throw them away. That's why we told you in an email before you arrived that these things would not be provided. For future guests, please read the FAQ email that we send before your arrival, it's full of useful information so you know what to expect. We provide ample toilet paper and tissues, but if you use a lot, we don't guarantee that there will be enough for your entire stay. Again, this is in the email that we sent you before your arrival. I don't know why you felt like you had to clean up, but we do ask guests to take their trash out when they're departing. We have had many cases where trash left in a unit for even just a few hours, before our cleaners arrived, created a smell that the following guest had to deal with and didn't enjoy. But, for future guests, if taking your trash to the dumpster is something that may negatively impact your vacation, just don't do it. We appreciate if you do, and the guest after you will appreciate it, but we're not going to hunt you down if you don't. As far as the condo being small for 6, we have 6 guests in there all the time. The description and photos are very clear about the layout and bed configuration.
It was the perfect location. We enjoyed taking the gondola to town and the shuttle was easy after the gondola closed. Spacious and clean. The kitchen is perfect!
Breckenridge is home the the World's largest half-pipe which can be viewed from the condo balcony.
