We had some issues trying to check in. One being our fault - check in time us 4:00 CDT - we were on Eastern Time. The guest before us had left place in quite a disarray which took the person who was cleaning a longer time. The balcony was the Best area of the place. Many a nap or sleep over at night occurred there. It was wonderful. Only real down on this place was the parking. It stunk. We had to park in public parking lot that cost $5.00 every 24 hours. Area for the unit was small and required a lot of mulnipulating to get park. Too close. Afraid we were going to scrap our car on the walls on ramps. We enjoyed our time there. Beach area was really nice. Pool was nice in afternoon.

Good view of ocean

We reached few hours prior to the check-in time , Gregg was more than accommodating to allow us an early check-in. Condo was super good from inside and the patio was the major attraction. You can just sit on those couch watching sea . Kitchen was well-stocked , rooms were all good. Faced problem with latch of one of bathroom door , called Gregg for help but it was Christmas holiday . Somehow could open the jammed door. Internet connectivity was very good , theee was a new 42 inch TV . We could cast our mobile and watch our fav programs on TV. Stayed peacefully and had fun for 3 nights 4 days . Everything was good but had problem settling the damage amount refund . They charge cleaning charge in excess of and on top of that again a cut on the amount given as refundable damage diposit .Damage amount was charged for stain on cooking stove out of turmeric and spices using while cooking , wrongly left chicken curry in shelf and stain left on couch from cooked pulses and smell due to cooking using mustard oil and Indian spices . It was really a pain getting response from Gregg . It took me 28 days after repeated follow up to get all calculations settled and amount refund . I would surely recommend this beautiful condo but wish Gregg was more responsive to my communications and reasonable charging me money for things which I felt was not ok.

Owner's Response: Debasish D, In reply to your concerns, I let you in early as I am happy to do with all of my renters when ever possible. We try to keep the unit in excellent condition and replace what needs to be replaced. The TV was upgraded to a 60 inch 4K prior to your arrival and we updated to a new couch as well. We keep everything well stocked and the rooms nice as you said. As I read the text of your review of the unit, I feel you were very fair. As far as the stars you gave it seemed more about the loss of part of your damage deposit for permanently staining the new couch. We have set the unit up with clean high quality items. I as well as future renters would expect that you leave the unit the way you found it. Clearly this was not the case. You left a plate of chicken curry as you say in one of the closets? When you cooked you burned the drip bowls. The spices that you used caused the cleaning team to have to place air fresheners through out the unit after prolonged airing out of the unit and still she had to go back for the next renter to get the smell out. Then you spilled something and stained the brand new couch. No matter what we tried the stain wouldn’t come out. So I had to have the couch professionally cleaned. This is above and beyond the “REGULAR” cleaning charge. I do not believe I should have to bear the additional charge so the next person can get the unit back the way I gave it to you. As for all the other extra costs associated with your stay, replacing the drip pans and the increased cost from my cleaning staff, I accepted as the cost of doing business. I will say it took me a bit longer to sort this out than I would have liked. This occurred during the holiday season compounded by the fact the unit was occupied. It all made letting my cleaning staff try multiple options on our own and ultimately coordinating estimates and such more difficult. I was looking for the best possible way to be fair to both of us during this unfortunate situation.
