After a hectic day of sightseeing, escape to your cozy Paris apartment tucked away on a quiet street off Rue St. Dominique. The apartment is located on the third floor, with an elevator, and is 31 square meters in size (approximately 330 square feet). Entrance into the building is by security code.

This bright and cheerful apartment is the perfect space for two people. It comes with a spacious separate bedroom, fully-equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, flat screen television and wireless internet access. Large double-paned windows in the bedroom and living area allow for plenty of light to stream into the apartment, while adding the quietness and privacy that welcomes you at the end of a busy day.

The bedroom is separated by a charming French door that leads into the living area. There is plenty of space to stretch out and settle in for a restful stay. The bedroom has a queen size bed complete with linens and a wardrobe to place your belongings in.

The living room with its cozy loveseat and armchair sets the tone for unwinding and reliving the day’s events.

Try out your French cooking skills in the well-fitted kitchenette: four-burner cooktop, combination convection oven and microwave, cookware and tableware.

The water closet (WC) or toilet and shower are combined in one compact, functional room with a generous supply of hot water. The apartment also has a combination washer and dryer for your convenience so pack light, and leave some room in your suitcase for souvenirs!

One of Paris’ famous landmarks is only a five-minute walk from your apartment. The Eiffel Tower will not disappoint in presenting you with a stunning panoramic view of The City of Light. Be sure to catch her in the evening hours when she twinkles and shines, on the hour, every hour until midnight.

The seventh district boasts some of the city's most beautiful monuments. It is home to Champ de Mars gardens and park - adjacent to the Eiffel Tower, Invalides (Napoleon’s tomb), Orsay Museum and Rodin Museum just to name a few. This area is very safe and ideal for couples and families.

Many other Paris attractions are within walking distance from this central location: Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde and the Louvre Museum. If you prefer to take the metro, the nearest stop (Ecole Militaire) is a 10-minute walk from the apartment. For sightseeing and travel above aground, discover the hidden gem of Bus 69 with a route that runs east-west across Paris and stops at many of the city's main visitor attractions. The bus stop is just around the corner from the apartment.

What would a visit to Paris be without sampling her exquisite cuisine? Just outside your door on Rue St. Dominique is an array of grocery shops, wine shops, bakeries and cafes; close by (about five-minute walk) is the well-known pedestrian shopping street of Rue Cler. Take your time and savour the freshness of local products. Stroll through the fruit and vegetable stalls. Visit the fish mongers, butcher shops, bakeries and the like. Of course there are also plenty of specialty stores, bistros and cafes to temp your taste buds.

Excellent location - Comfortable - One Problem

We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location is perfect... The only draw-back was that in order to make the fridge work properly (it did not stay cold enough), I had to defrost the freezer with the hair dryer. The ice build-up had totally engrossed the freezer compartment to a point where the door would not close. This situation also did not allow any room in which to place items needed to be frozen.

The bed was very comfortable. Other than this inconvenience, we enjoyed our stay. I trust that the owner and manager will be certain to correct this situation.

I agree that the location is great, it is one of the reasons we purchased this particular apartment. I am glad that you found the bed comfortable as well. I have reached out to you to find out what else we could have done to have received five stars instead of three, it is the best way for me to fix things is if I am informed of problems.

Great location

I stayed in this apartment for ten days with my mom. The apartment was super clean and had an information binder that was incredibly helpful during our stay, but the best part was the location. The street it's on is quiet so getting over jet lag was a breeze and it's close to the Eiffel Tower and bus stops/metro stations to get you anywhere else you might want to go. The location is also prime for finding food since there are many restaurants, grocery stores, and bakery's in the area. Apart from the location, some other perks are the air conditioning, the elevator, and most importantly, the bed. I would not recommend taking naps on it because you will sleep for 100 years. It is seriously so great and it took all my willpower not to take it home with me. I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Paris Retreat

This little apartment is indeed a cozy little nest in the 7th Arrondisement, Paris. My husband and I were so sad to leave it after our 2 week stay. We fell in love with the place. We love how centrally located it is with easy access to bus #69 that stops at many of Paris tourist sites. Also taking the metro is very convenient. Thank you for providing a very comprehensive information binder for us that have very useful info on the buses, metro, phone # for shuttle cars and cabs and so much more. We felt very spoiled with the apartment perks: elevator, air conditioning, excellent wifi connection and the free long distance to Canada, US and Australia. The listing on VRBO is truly accurate and there were no nasty surprises upon arriving at the apartment. Everything was clean and in good working order. We have rented many apartments in Paris and this one is by far the most quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We will most definitely be re-booking this sweet little flat.

Perfect location

This is the second time we have stayed at 7th Heaven. Used "bus 69" and it took us everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment is an ideal size for a couple and having an elevator is a big plus. Being a short walk to Rue Cler and the Eiffel Tower it is in a perfect location. Six restaurants, two pastisseries and a market within a block. The owner is very good to deal with and has always promptly returned our security deposit.

Great Stay at 7th Heaven

We picked 7th Heaven because of the reviews and the fact that my wife had been in Paris previously staying in the same area and knew the apartment was well located. That is actually an understatement because I think it would be hard to find a better location to stay. The Metro and bus stops were very handy but after a couple of days we figured out how central we were and that it was fun to just walk to and from a lot of places . It is obviously very close to the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, Napolean's tomb, the Seine and the Army Museum but when we took the On and Off bus around and ended up at the Arc de Triump, we just decided to walk home and it was really fun walking down the Champ's de Eyless and then cutting off on Avenue Montaigne which was full of really high dollar shops that were fun to see even if we didn't go in.

The apartment is located on a very quiet street with some nice small restaurants and shops and just half a block either way to Rue St. Dominique or Rue de Grenelle which are both loaded with shops, bakeries and restaurants. The elevator was great because we were traveling in Europe for a month, over packed (as usual) and had purchased two additional suitcases in Europe to hold purchases. It was SO much more convenient to use the elevator than lugging the suitcases up staircases which happened in other European places we stayed.

The apartment also has to be one of the safest places to be in Paris. The security setup, with a pass code to open the front door, then a key fob to open the next door leading to the elevator , and the secure door and locks for the apartment would reassure anybody.

As other reviews have mentioned, the owner has prepared a book with instructions, guides, maps, suggestions ....and all sorts of other helpful information that we repeatedly used and kept remarking to each other how helpful it was. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and having a separate bedroom from the living room/kitchen area was nice. I would not hesitate to stay at 7th Heaven in the future or recommend it to others.

We returned to 7th Heaven

My wife and I spent the month of September, 2014 in Paris staying in this apartment. When we decided to return to Paris in 2016, we did not even look at other apartments. We just checked the availability of 7th Heaven, found it available, and reserved it for the month of September. That should firmly state our recommendation of this apartment for an enjoyable base for a time spent in Paris.

Carefully read the description of what this apartment offers. The description is accurate. The neighborhood is safe and centrally located for visiting anywhere in the city. Some sights, like the Eiffel Tower, are easily within walking distance. Bus stops are very near the apartment and the nearest metro station is only a 10-15 minute walk. We used the metro almost exclusively by mapping out our destination route before leaving the apartment and then simply following our notes to the correct metro lines and connections. For longer stays like ours, a pass card will be most convenient and save money. The apartment provides a manual with a section on public transportation, which can be very helpful.

We loved the fresh air breeze we could get in the apartment by opening windows in the front bedroom and the kitchen at the back. Having a separate bedroom was very helpful to us because I am an early riser and my wife likes to sleep in a little longer. I could be up enjoying the free wifi and drinking French press coffee while not disturbing her extra sleep. Also, the old, creaky and very reliable elevator to this third floor apartment came to be an integral part of the ambiance.

The apartment is on a vibrant neighborhood street with several restaurants and shops with apartments on the floors above. On the north and south ends of this short street are busier streets, Grenelle and St. Dominique, where you will find more restaurants, boulangeries, wine and cheese shops, ATMs, small grocers and fruit/veggie markets. Pretty much all you might need is close-by.

If you should have any problem with the apartment or questions not addressed in the apartment manual, the owner, J. C., is very responsive and accommodating. You can rely on that.

Lifetime memories are available. This apartment can help you discover some of your own.
